This whole thing leaves so many questions. First they cancelled the season, and then Keith McShea had a follow up article about it because a lot of people thought they shouldn't have. I thought it should be up to the players. It seemed McShea thought so, too, but his article never got an answer to what the players thought.
Then, the whole "cause" is put into question. All along it was said that it was a helmet to helmet hit. But, then Portville (the opposing team and the home team) - their head coach watched the game film over and over and saw no such hit.........But, he won't give the game film to McShea or the News to take a look. It's kind of strange how the whole thing unfolded:

Then, they have a big article this week about the 6 players in WNY football history who have died. Now they've tempered it down to "a hit" and say that it's up to his parents whether they want to release the results of the autopsy because he was under 18:
