  1. This season is all about EJ. I want to see him improve and make those 3-4 wow throws that turn the tide of games.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pfz4JViRkoA because ever since we've sucked.
  3. Nelson Mandella was democratically elected, no? Please list some mass socialist tragedies.
  4. I think training a rugby player ST first would be a heck of a lot easier than LB.
  5. If EJ can stop checking down, & start throwing to his 2nd & 3rd reads he'll make a whole lot more than this. I do expect more from EJ these last 4 games.
  6. Wow, wonder if Simon or Beerball would consider this offensive? Awesome post!
  7. There is plenty of money, what there is not enough excitement.
  8. i'm 33 and got lucky as my first memories are of the Bills ascending to the top of the NFL in 1988. Looking at 54 seasons of Bills football, including the last 14 sans-playoffs I have to admit I got kind of lucky I missed the late 70s & early 80s teams. That said, the last 14 years pisses me off to no avail.
  9. Tomlin should be given a year off from football, and the Steelers should lose their 1st round draft pick in 2014.
  10. Cycling - Lance Armstrong Baseball - 1/4 of the league on HGH Soccer - Italia Serie A match fixing NBA - referee point shaving NFL - Spygate I, Spygate II Boxing - a high number of controversial decisions Olympics - http://www.history.com/news/shortcuts-to-the-gold-9-cheaters-in-olympic-history Go to 3:17 of this Japanese broadcast of SB25. Jim Kelly has just spiked the ball to kill the clock after a Thurman Thomas draw brings the Bills to the Giants 29 yard line with :08 to go. Norwood runs out on to the field with Reich as his holder to setup for the kick. Parcells calls a time out to ice Norwood, and screams for "JERRY" to get over and talk to him. The presumed swap-out occurs at this point. The ball Kelly spiked was not the field goal ball, hence the swap to the tainted ball.
  11. Adrian Peterson gets my nod as top RB of 2007 draft, but Lynch is playing well on a great football team. Lynch won't ever catch Peterson in yards, but he has a great chance at winning a few title's before he hits age 30 in 3 seasons.
  12. Some people believe that Bill Parcells had Head Official Jerry Seeman swap out the football right before Norwood's attempted SB25 winning kick, the ball was weighted down behind the laces causing the snap & hold angle to be slightly off. Changing the timing of a kick by .0001 is all you need. I don't believe this but some people do.
  13. Conspiracy theorists will always exist. Remember Marv Levy trudging off to the locker at halftime of SB26 screaming at the head official "YOU WERE BOUGHT!"
  14. Also remember when the SpyGate story broke in 2007, NFL Insider Chris Mortenson reported a story where Doug Flutie told a reporter one time when he was on the Pats in 2005 he picked up Tom Brady's spare helmet & heard a 2nd radio after the 15 second cut off. Also remember Josh McDaniels as Belichick disciple got buste taping signals of other teams when he was coach of the Broncos.
  15. I like the OPs point of view. My major concern is our continued lack of being able to stop the run. Now I know Alonso over-pursued some of the big gamers on Sunday, but he did get sucked up into some blocks. My point is looking at all the teams that are good on defense they have a quality space eating DT like a Ted Washington. I think the Bills would be well suited to acquire a top guy, think Terrence Cody type of player who can occupy 1-2 blockers on short yardage & run downs.
  16. EJ Manuel gets his chance to stake his claim as top rookie QB of '13 this week in Tampa. Manuel vs Glennon is an interesting matchup that goes back to their days in the ACC. In case anyone was wondering here is their head to head stats: EJ record 1-1, win 2011, loss 2012 EJ 42/63 66.7%, 539 yds, 3 tds, 2 ints Glennon 444/68 64.7%, 451 yds, 2 tds, 3ints
  17. In light of the Tomlin new conference today it dawned on me that this year the Bills have now lost to Bill Belichick, Sean Payton, & Mike Tomlin. Throw in Jets into the mix too, simply google Jets coach trips player, and you'll come across a Jets strength coach who intentionally tripped a player in 2010. Should there be any surprise that coaches willing to bend if not circumvent the rules would be 3-0 vs Buffalo in 2013? Not surprisingly these admitted cheaters boast a 5-3 Super Bowl record. In light of these facts, could a case be made the Bills as an organization simply lack the guile to do whatever it takes to win? Count me in the corner of a fan who would rather lose than win by cheating.
