Hopefully he improves as well as the rest of the offense. I think it will be tied mostly to the performance of the offensive line. If they play better, I suspect both the passing and running game will begin improving. I also expect improvements from Dennison. Funny thing is I don't know how a person can rate Qb's for the rest of 2017 when there is a lot of 2017 left to play. Seems like you would have to wait till the end of 2017 to rate them. No? Otherwise it is anybody's guess what the final rankings look like.

Fingers crossed. It would be great to see this offense get on track finally this year. If they do, this year could end up great. Not holding my breath though.

You know, I didn't think it was going to be an issue with guys not watching football because of the protests. But I actually know 3 families who aren't watching the games because of it. And all of them are Democrats. Turns out the Anthem thing crosses political lines in some cases. Of course these guys are more conservative than most Democrats too I guess. I figured most people would blow it off as idiot players being idiots. It hit home hard with some though I guess. Harder than I would have guessed. I just ignore the anthem thing and continue to stand, hat off, hand over heart. Some day those players will realize they went about this wrong. But then again, you can't fix stupid.

Honestly a lot of it is because of them. Many of them would rather play video games than watch football. Our culture in America is changing. To a tech savvy person, there are so many other options besides football - many of them are more desirable obviously. And it is over-saturation. Remember when Cabbage Patch dolls were all the rage and everyone wanted to get one for their kid? It was because there wasn't enough supply to meet demand and it created an increasing demand spiral. Or when Apple releases a new product - and doesn't have enough of that product to meet demand - it makes people want that product even more. NFL is everywhere all the time now. You don't have to wait for it and anticipate it - except for your team's game on Sunday. NFL has over-supplied the market - and it is no longer a "can't wait to get this" item.

Yeah. He could have lessened the hit no doubt as it was obvious Rogers got rid of the ball. It doesn't bother me simply because I want quarterbacks to have to play actual NFL football too instead of flag football. He was tackled high, with arms wrapped. Didn't go for head. Didn't go for knees. Exactly the kind of tackles you want your guys to make on defense.

My immediate first thought when that play was overturned was that somebody making that decision either 1) had money on the game or 2) owes a debt to La Cosa Nostra It was as bad as the ref FUBAR last year in the Bills Seahawks game. Unbelievably idiotic officiating.

Looked like a clean hit on the QB to me. Unfortunate result of injury, but the hit was clean. They need to let guys hit quarterbacks more in my opinion. And that hit was as textbook as they get. If you want to see a dirty hit, go look at the hit in the Cincy game that knocked Clay out with. Defender unnecessarily targeted Clay's knee.

Whatever work they have been doing is apparently doing more harm than good. Maybe if they keep working at it, by the end of the season they can go from having last year's best run blocking offensive line to its absolute worst. That would be quite the accomplishment for this new regime. Dawkins will be good 2 years from now. Most lineman take a few years. They needed to address the right side of the line in free agency last year and they passed on it completely.

Your intentions are in the right place, I just don't agree with the methods. I would think (I am not a shrink) benching him for a number of games at this point could create a major problem for him going forward if you intend to keep him on the team for years. Imagine he starts next year and in week 6 he has a couple of bad drops - now he starts thinking he is going to get benched again - kicking himself while he is down and the problem spirals again. A better approach is to help him work through it and keep telling him you believe in him and that he will be great in this league. Throw him easy passes to start the game if you can fit them in. If he doesn't fix it, at some point I guess you have to bench him. I just don't think we are there yet. Not for a rookie player that you are relying on to upgrade your receiving corps.

He is just failing. I don't think that is how you fix that. You fix him by throwing him a million passes in practice and by throwing him easy passes on short routes early in the next game.

I assume they are already playing the QB they think is the best on the roster. I would rather have my OC adjust to my best players, whoever they are. I say do it this year this game. Next year I expect them to start the best QB on the roster again whoever that is - and adjust to his strengths as well as the strengths of the other personnel on the team. Not doing so is stupid. Unless you like losing. No reason you can't choose which plays to practice most and call in games based on your starting QB. You can change those things week to week if you want to. There is something about football and this Buffalo Bills team that Greg Roman, Anthony Lynn and Aaron Kromer know and understand way better than Rick Dennison and Juan Castillo do.
