Then you are either 1) Blind or 2) Jaded Or perhaps both Teams aren't blitzing him as much - They are trying to contain him within the pocket. He is passing out of that pocket successfully when given time to throw. Notice he isn't ripping off big runs between the tackles this year out of shotgun. He isn't bailing out of pockets as early or as often as he did in previous years. It is plain as freaking day. You aren't paying attention.

He is finding open receivers more often, throwing from the pocket instead of running and throwing over the middle - which are all things that he has been accused of not doing since he has been here. Teams are forcing him to "play pocket passer QB" and he is beating them because of it.

Yes. I think this offense could be dominant still, even with these receivers if they could just clean things up. Zay dropping passes. Tyrod missing a receiver who has a step while running towards end zone. Mills not whiffing on pass blocks. Those things. This offense would be more fun to watch and the Bills would be striking legit fear into the hearts of opponents like they did in the early 90's. God it is fun to watch the Bills beat a good team. One Superbowl team down. One to go.

This thread should be embedded in the "It was just Atlanta" thread. Taylor was better than Ryan today no doubt. Seems like teams are trying to force him to be a pocket passer and he is actually becoming one.

He had more than one bad throw today. But so did Ryan. And thankfully, today, the Bills' player was better.

Cincy got their win for the year out of the way today winning the Battle for OHIO. Bills gonna get a tune up in Cincinnati and then a rest before playing the Pirates.

Maybe we can trade them and get Sammy back?

You can play sloppy and still win - depends on the game - right? Offense left a lot of plays on the field. If they make those plays - they look dominant. Defense - although coming up big - fundamentally played poorly "at times" - If they clean more of those up - they look really dominant. How awesome would it be if they got that good......

Best part about this win is that the Bills still haven't played up to their potential as a team. They can be a lot better than they played on all phases of the ball today - with the exception of kicking field goals. Looking forward to finding a way to improve and start becoming dominant. Yes!

Hopefully use same approach against the Patriots!
