  1. Dude..... when did you register that domain? And did you do it just for SEO purposes/company publicity?
  2. Except you should lead by example which he really doesn't do. I don't think there is a clear leader on offense with him gone. Sad. and Bad.
  3. Yolo - when you crap in the morning do the terds come out shaped like footballs? I swear you eat, sleep, drink and sh** Buffalo Bills football. Always Johnny on the spot....Nice...
  4. I get what you mean. I just wanted to reiterate the obvious point that RB's have a lot more equally important talent needs than just running fast. Freddie is a big game, big play maker. Those are more rare. The guy is just so damn reliable. I can't see why a coach would choose speed over that which is what they are doing if they keep Brown.
  5. If you want an understanding of how I make judgments about football, then read this thread. Isn't it obvious.
  6. Yes agreed 100%.
  7. Yet he was still making plays based on raw talent like he did the other night? Am I wrong? And he is your best pass blocking RB.
  8. Seems like they had to know they were going to do this long before today? Don't ya think? Why string him along?
  9. Bad JUJU man! Bad friggin JUJU!
  10. Last season... If you want to forget last season then you could use Game 2 in this preseason. First three possessions = 1 first down maybe 2. Plus he got sacked 3 times in 3 possessions. Fumbled in the red zone on the fourth possession that he otherwise played very well in. Can't say anything against the last game he played in. He played better than anyone would have expected. That was probably the best performance of his career I would think. But, historically in regular season games, he just doesn't move the chains well. There is a probably a better quarterback on this team who moves the ball better than the others and also possesses the big play threat. His jersey doesn't say "Manuel" on it. You are entitled to your own opinion. That is mine.
  11. I think that you just brought up what most of the "let's start EJ" guys are missing. Historically, the guy doesn't move the chains well enough. If given a clean pocket and time to throw, EJ shows moments of being an excellent passer. But that isn't how real football is played. During regular season games, if your strength is throwing a deep ball well and your weakness is letting broken pockets turn into sacks and miscues, then guess what the opposing team is going to try to do. They are going to do their best to disrupt the pocket on every passing situation. They aren't going to give you clean pockets if they can help it. Does anyone think that, during the regular season, our offensive line is really that good to give any one of our QB's that much time to throw out of a perfect pocket like they did in this last preseason game? We won't really know who the best QB is until we see other teams game plan against them. Last year, we saw what happens with EJ when other teams game planned against him. Maybe he is better this year. We won't really know until we see teams try to take away his strengths and exploit his weaknesses. We have seen teams game plan against a Matt Cassel led offense. And the result has been less than impressive from Cassel's standpoint more times than not. Which is how the Bills landed him in the first place. If he was that great of a veteran, the Bills wouldn't have got a shot at him. We haven't seen teams game plan against Tyrod Taylor. And we won't really know how he plays under those circumstances unless/until we see it happen. Maybe he is great or maybe the other team successfully contains him and his arm. We won't know until we see it. Of the 3 quarterbacks, he presents the most "hope" for being hard to stop. Nothing he or anyone else has done this preseason gives you any proof otherwise. All he has done is play at a high level.
  12. Awesome post bro. I think your stats explain why I feel better about Tyrod compared to the other guys at this point. He moves the chains and gets you in scoring position on a high percentage of drives. That to me is the biggest thing that separates him from the other guys. And combined with the ability to get it done on 3rd down, he also has the big play potential in him. If he is given the start in week 1 and he plays as well as he has played in preseason so far, the Bills are going to win the AFC East. Those are two big "if's" I know, but if they do happen, we will be enjoying a playoff game or two in wintertime. And nothing beats the atmosphere of a home Buffalo Bills playoff game. Anybody remember those?
  13. Those uniforms are so racist! When that music started playing in the video, I thought a stripper was about to come out on a stage.
  14. I think that was a 3rd down play where the guy was trying to get a first down and save the drive. You can't blame him for diving/leaping there. At least he was trying. Not being willing to take a hit to try to move the chains is what caused Orton to lose respect with the fans last year. I don't think Cassel played very well compared to the other two top quarterbacks on the team, but you can't really knock him on his effort. He tried, just came up short.
  15. Thanks for the insult. No I know nothing about football. Do your friends whip the bird at you a lot and call you names like shi*****? I bet they do. A response of "just do what you would do against another running quarterback" as you are suggesting, sounds like a response from someone who knows nothing about football. That response is so vague that it provides zero value to the discussion and is essentially makes it look like you have no idea how to actually defend against the guy. Here is another great one from you, a seemingly self proclaimed football genius -"sometimes the defense wins and sometimes the offense wins". Now that my friend is fricken genius analysis right there. Boom. Free pierogi for you today and tomorrow. Call up the Colts and offer to consult with them on your genius idea for game planning against a guy like Tyrod Taylor. They will pay you millions for that kind of insider knowledge and high level breakdown of how to beat the guy if they end up facing him. Most teams can't defend against Russel Wilson very well. It seems to be an ongoing challenge for every defense in the NFL. So what the hell is wrong with asking a guy for a more detailed answer than just saying - "do what you would do against Russel Wilson". Different teams probably try to defend against him in different ways. I was simply asking that guy how he would do it.
  16. Can't dispute it, your logic does make sense. We always have IR.
  17. I've got a feeling that if they try to just contain him, he will pick them apart and still make plays with his feet when the situation arises. I think they have to defeat him mentally somehow. They have to confuse him to the point where he becomes indecisive. If they can do that, then he might be in trouble. The problem they have there is that if the guy is being indecisive about who he should throw the ball to, he just tucks it in and becomes a running back, and a pretty damn good one at that. With this guy, every play is really an (audible/option) even if he doesn't call the audible at the line of scrimmage. I really wonder how well he would perform if he his given the chance in a situation where a defense tries to prepare for him. It could be a flop, or it could be unbelievably exciting.
  18. Obviously no, he is not ready for the real thing. That doesn't mean he won't play though and it doesn't mean teams won't pick on him. And if they do, look out.
  19. I would be shopping him for a trade outside the AFC East. He is wicked fast, but you can't count on him to be there every week. He gets hurt way too much. I don't think he is physically tough enough to warrant a roster spot when you have so many other good receivers on the Bubble. If you can get something decent for him, like a decent corner back, do it.
  20. That is assuming he gets the start. But regardless of whether he does or not, how do you game plan against him?
  21. I think Greg Manusky (colts DC) is crapping his pants and really wishing this game was going to be at Indy instead of at Buffalo. Which is what? How do teams effectively stop Russel Wilson?
  22. That makes sense. What about typically perceived passing situations? Like 3rd and longs? Do you bring pressure? And how?
  23. Also underrated because nobody is talking about it, is the play of the offensive line. O-line gave Bills quarterbacks lots of clean pockets and opened holes in the running game. Great job for the most part.
  24. This post is not to suggest that Taylor is the starter for week 1 because we simply won't know for sure who it is until Rex actually announces it. But, regardless of who does actually end up starting, Indy is going to have to try to be prepared for the possibility that it might be Tyrod Taylor. And my question is - How does Indy game plan for Taylor? What would you do if you had to try to stop him?
  25. This is how I look at it too. Great post. Can't wait to see how TT does when opposing coaches try to game plan against him. I think he is the most challenging QB on this team to game plan against.
