  1. I don't know much about College Football, but what little I do know, I would have to agree. I don't see a "guaranteed" franchise QB in this coming draft that I would have to have, and yes, EJ may yet come around and find his wings. BigPappy
  2. Forgot about Matt Ryan. I would put him into the better than average category. Like you say, it would never happen, but I like the scenario. BigPappy
  3. First, lets name off the elite QB's that are currently playing. P. Manning, Rothlesburger, Brees, Brady, Rogers, and maybe Andrew Luck who more likely falls into the better than average category. Next, list the better than average QB's. R. Wilson, Kaepernick, E. Manning, Flaco and maybe Nick Foles. All other QB's until proven otherwise are serviceable. We already have (clearing my throat and making a funny face...) serviceable. Now.....of the above list of Elite and better than average could be available via FA or an all out trade. Forget the Elite QB list, we wont get one...they wont be available for any amount of picks or players for trade. Team's do not get rid of elite QB's! Out of the better than average pile, who might be available as a trade pick up or FA? Maybe Kaepernick or Flaco, based on performance this year, but I don't see SF dropping or trading Kaep. Flaco is probably the only QB we or any other team looking for a veteran QB would have a legit opportunity of getting. I would be okay with Flaco, he is definitely better than Orten! Flame away!!! 4. It's funny you say this. I was thinking exactly this. He was use to playing in a Dome in Indy. He can play when its cold, but when it is frigged out, he does not play well. BigPappy
  5. We have a winner here!!!!! 100% on the money. BigPappy
  6. Solid coaching Tree....What does that even mean any more. All these new coaches that get labeled with that STIGMA....yes I call it a stigma, are so far removed from the top of that so called coaching tree, they have become watered down versions of its original. Have you ever seen the movie Multiplicity with Michael Keaton? He makes a copy of himself so he has more free time. Well the copy gets tired of doing all the crap and eventually makes a copy of himself...and when you make a copy of a copy its never as sharp as the original. The same theory applies here. BigPappy
  7. Promo....Your half's are equal to more than one forum board. How many Bills forum boards do we have? LOL!...Just kidding, I know what you mean. BigPappy
  8. It will definitely be in the first quarter. Probably on the second 3 down the Bills have killing the drive and placing us just out of field goal distance. BigPappy
  9. (Insert running backs name here) Up the middle for two yard gain. BigPappy
  10. There is a phrase used in Football, and it is used for good reason. That phrase is ...."Any given Sunday" Any team, and I mean ANY team can show up and play tough. BigPappy
  11. Need a group to rush the field and bust the refs right in the mouth. BigPappy
  12. I would not be surprised if this was actually true. BigPappy
  13. I guess we have had a good TE all this time, it was a qb that we were missing! BigPappy
  14. Getting sick to watch. The offense needs to step up and actually perform. The defense can't keep carrying this team. BigPappy
  15. TBD Top 3 Quotes... #3 #2 And the #1 Quote .......Loved this one because it's just so true. (ie, the Brady Rule, Video Gate...etc..) BigPappy
  16. Everyone said the same thing about Pettine and he was gone after one year. While Buffalo's D was pretty decent last year they still sucked against the run. While I think Pettine is a good coordinator, I didn't think he deserved a shot as a HC after just one year of bringing a horrible defense to an okay defense. BigPappy
  17. Going to be a long day if the offense can't pick it up BigPappy
