You link to an article that literally was wrong about everything as far as the impact of the new law last year but I should simply trust the premise? As for why I picked 2012 is I traveled around the country until 2013 and I had enough contact with general managers for Marriott hotels who told me they could not compete on the dirt cheap rates of lesser motels because they could not hire the illegals who work on daily pay. This was a general manager outside Chicago and one outside Atlanta.
-
60% of hotels in USA are owned by chains, that leaves 40% are not. I did look into some more and apparently the liberal cities do allow the chains to hire illegals without punishment. I was wrong about that, I will state that until 2012 hotels would not hire illegals due to punishment but that has definitely changed.

The fact that you believe every foreign national is illegal is amazing to me. Disney has a ton of foreign nationals working at their hotel and none of them are illegals. For jobs like that there are programs, many of which are poorly run by the fed, but Marriott has a ton of these people also. The illegals are working in jobs that pay cash daily, not large hotels.

Week 11 - Chiefs at Bills Game Week Thread
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am less excited for this game than I "should" be because at this point all I care about is the playoffs. I would rather lose today and get the 4 seed and be healthy than win today and go into playoffs injured -
The best argument against voter ID presented so far is that potentially someone whom is too lazy to have an ID will at some point decide right before the election that for some reason they want to vote. This person of course is unemployed, since you an ID to work, does not drive, or go to school, since you need an ID to be in school. It literally is an argument that we should worry about the lowest 1% rather than pass the smallest hurdle to ensure a criminal does not steal an election.
-
So how many of those tried to vote and were denied? In Florida you can a state ID card for free, so if you want it you can get it. I said show me individuals because everything you "debunked" I can show studies showing the opposite, show individuals.
-
Since you stated 24 people people being convicted of voter fraud was not a concern, if you can show me 24 individuals who were improperly disenfranchised in the past 20 years I will stop arguing. Please don't send this 4 million people garbage, because that is simply felons and non citizens.

This is a state issue, not federal, so unless he wants to make teacher unions illegal, he can't do much. The ending of the dept and making the only federal function to be a Clearinghouse of information of which states are doing better will do wonders
-
Your standard is that I can't prove enough people voted to overturn the election and then present a totally vacuous dated argument. You sound like the idiots who said GA disenfranchised voters right before they had record turnout from the very people "disenfranchised". Everybody over the age of 18 has ID and you can not point to a single person who would actually be unable to vote who should. That is a bad faith argument.
-
Your point is trying to find a reason to pretend that "certain groups" can't get ID. You also are arguing that until an presidential election is stolen you don't want to discuss how to stop it. Finally you seem to think your argument that we are finding cheaters much more readily in ID states vs non ID states is a winning strategy because it is catching more Republicans is about the most partisan thing I can imagine.
-
I might be confusing you with another poster from the GA thread a few years back, so my question is then to you, why not require ID since it would limit fraud and show all us Republicans you don't need to cheat?
-
Your point is that while people where breaking the law to help get their candidate votes it doesn't really count because it it is not the specific version that is hardest to prove without voter ID, which you argue is racist. Once again when you use the term bad faith to only then admit your argument is only valid so long as you narrowly define the word, and then make it nearly impossible to prove that one version, it really makes you seem ignorant.
-
As I have stated already, and you seem adamant to prove my point, you believe the mayor race in Bridgeport had more fraud then the whole of the US presidential election. You sound like the English teacher who told me when I was lamenting the problems with cheating on homework that no one cheated on her homework, until I sent her a message that she had two kids using chatgpt on her work in my my class.
-
You are literally arguing that a mayoral race of Bridgeport Cat had more fraud than the presidential race? You have to stop calling people bad faith when you are simply so ignorant. https://www.ctpost.com/news/article/bridgeport-absentee-ballots-geter-pataky-ganim-19531555.php

So you are unaware that a Chinese citizen voted, and realized a couple days later he could not legally do it and told the election people? His vote counted.
-
So how many people voted illegally in Michigan?
-
We are now a week past the election but several states are still accepting ballots, how does that foster a sense of security in the results? Secondly why is it that Kamala only won states without voter ID laws? Nothing says I won like not checking to see if anyone is actually allowed to vote. We can shut down the voter fraud argument easily but Dems like keeping it around.

My son in college is on Facebook to communicate with extended family and this week went to look at what my government employee brother in law was writing about in 2016. Basically he went 0/7 on his big "warnings" Trump was gonna start a war in Ukraine, he was gonna pull out of NATO, he was going to make abortion illegal, he was gonna start a war in Israel, he was gonna not allow another election, he was gonna have concentration camps, and he was gonna leave minorities behind in the economy. My son thought it was hilarious that he is still saying same things when he was wrong with every item then, literally never learns -

When we make fun of you it is not being "butthurt" it is simply showing no respect for your ignorant opinion. Either you have no idea what democracy means or you truly don't care about it because Kamala was the non democratic process candidate. All your fussing is hilarious.
