I am curious where you got your table. NBC said there were 125k breakthrough cases on July 30th. Your table shows it never get close to 500 on any given week. One of these tables is incorrect. Where you and I will disagree is that the MSM is not concerned with factual accuracy. They (CNN, ABC, WAPO, NYT) are more concerned with narrative. WAPO still writes that 1.75 trillion is more than 1.9 trillion and calls anyone who points out the absurdity of the claim a conspiracy theorist or a liar. An equal shot is called equality. The reason it has basically been abandoned by liberals is it means hard work. Equity means equal results and pretends that some God given skill and hard work are not the main reason for success

Equity that simply becomes equal outcomes does not make any workplace better. It is a fact that some people are more useful than others in certain jobs, and the incompetent should be rewarded equally with the competent. My union does not help good teachers it protects the bad ones so we are all treated with equity and you wonder why good teachers leave.

I think you think you are clever. Any discussion about Covid that does not focus almost exclusively on the high risk people is not worth having. Any discussion that tries to discuss the 1 in 50000 people as being nearly as important as the 1 in 50 is not worthy of time. Of the 600k deaths at least 550k are high risk people.
