If you are set on a small car, then I suppose your choices are between the SmartCar, the Yaris and the Fit. My understanding is that the Fit has the best crash test ratings, which should be important with small cars, so maybe think about looking into that as an option? Then again, can a SmartCar be any less safe than being on a motorcycle? And we do not have problems with people taking risks with those.

I have heard this time and time again. Yet as time has gone on, football players have seen more and more of their contracts guaranteed especially under the new CBA. Yes injuries occur more often in the NFL, but why should this affect whether the contracts are guaranteed? These players are injured putting their bodies on the line for their teams. It is not because of a fault of theirs most often that they are hurt. Perhaps if teams had to eat contracts of injured players the might not be so quick to do things like loading up a player with painkillers to play with injuries they should not be playing with. I doubt it would be chaotic. Every team would have the same risks and face the same problems. It would work itself out.

This renegotiating thing is weird to me. We rarely see it in baseball. NFL contracts should mean more than what they do. Guarantee the things and put a stop to this pressure to redo this contracts prematurely. Perhaps 2 years or less must remain before any renegotiating? I don't know. I am sure the CBA geniuses will work it out.
