I disagree. They are very witty. For example, when I went to see the Bills play the Jets at the Meadowlands in 2001, the fans around me started singing a very funny song consisting of just the following lines "Alex Van Pelt takes it up the a$$, do da, do da." By the way, the 3-13 Bills won that game.

How is that Baltimore's fault? Some Bills fan wrote some "witty" letter to the paper and the city's newspaper printed it. Some people have said the exact same thing here.

Pat Williams and perhaps Antoine Winfield (I am not sure if he is playing well anymore, however). Winfield was such an amazing tackler. I keep on thinking about how often runners got past the defensive backfield this year and how good he was at taking on running backs and receivers.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but I think it's unfair to say that Americans do not like soccer because they are close-minded. Cultures just grow up with different spectator sports and they naturally prefer the ones that they like. While I think soccer can increase in popularity here, youth soccer has long been popular and it has not translated into large number of fans when they are adults. As the Hispanic population grows and as there as professional soccer becomes more established, then yes soccer popularity will grow, but playing a sport does not clearly translate into wanting to watch the sport. We cannot say that Americans do not like soccer because they are close-minded and then complain when other countries do not like our sports like football. Do you want people to say that Europeans do not like American football b/c it is too complicated for them?

Word. I am not going to fault people for leaving because leaving was right for them and their families. However, there seems to be a little too much "I told you so" with this Toronto is inevitable talk. Let me know when the next owner of the Bills actually asks for a new stadium and is denied before anything is inevitable, or when the NFL does not worry about destroying the CFL and risking anti-trust litigation by moving a team completely there. And there's a difference in charging higher prices in a 65,000 domed seat stadium and having to sell out end zone nose-bleeds in a 74,000 seat stadium. And if the Bills ever move completely somewhere, I would rather they move to LA than Toronto. I do want to have any hatred to our friends to the north and I would hate this team and the city they moved to if they left.

Brandon's a marketing man and he knows the importance of favorable media coverage for season ticket sales. Feed them info, praise their egos and you get favorable coverage. No biggie.

Fine, whatever. If the Bills move, I am done with the NFL and most certainly with this team. We have this stupid thread every other day. By the way, you do realize that the NFL charges franchise relocation fees in order to offset the loss of a potential expansion site.

That can't be all of it, b/c I would bet that a 3 yr lease would cost about the same in total. This must include the high mileage or the gas reimbursement.

I thought you only needed a driver's license and a birth certificate for adults as well.
