  1. Wholeheartedly agree. We have not committed to the run at all. Roman's play calling has been predictable, as well. Truth. Good point.
  2. Shady has been one of the few bright spots in the first two weeks. He's done great with the carries he's been given (few), he's made some great cuts/moves to get extra yards, and he's turned a few busted plays into positive yardage. You're mad because he gets met behind the line by defenders and gets tackled? Show me the holes he's missed please. He's done everything he can in this crap offense so far.
  3. Wow. Woods was wide open. Walk in TD. Just can't miss someone that open.
  4. Why did we cut Felton and keep the fake gronk again?
  5. Unprepared. Not ready to play. That's coaching.
  6. That pick is huge. Definitely will be the biggest contribution EJ has made to the franchise. I agree to keep him then let him walk for that.
  7. After Jacksonville last year, don't think it could be much worse. EJ's NFL experience isn't a plus. It has only exposed his serious deficiencies to NFL defenses and coaches and made him easier to game plan against. I'd rather roll with Cardale and let him get experience.
  8. I'd rather watch this team go 0-16 than have Greg Hardy on our roster. I don't expect every NFL player to be an angel, and I'm all for second chances, but seriously... screw that guy. Would make me sick to my stomach to see him wearing our uniform.
  9. I think this is correct. It hurts to lose Ragland and Shaq, but honestly it would be hard for the defense to step much further back on the run and the pass rush than they already did last year. If the offense takes another step forward, they'll be OK. That's far from certain, but if they do they can compensate.
  10. NFL helicopter parents... lol.
  11. Misleading statistics. The games where there are >30 throws are often coming as a result of getting down by two or more scores in the second half. That team then has to throw a ton to try and make up the difference. So they were already much more likely to lose before the passing attempts started to get up there. The Patriots win if Tom throws a lot, a little, and everything in between. He is not a good comparison for this statistic.
  12. WADE!! (and probably Wade alone. Maybe Mularkey, but he quit)
  13. I'd rather listen to paint dry than listen to John Murphy. Is this really the best they we can do? I'm a Nats fan also, and FP Santangello and Bob Carpenter make their games sound 1000x more exciting... and it's baseball.
  14. Is that you Ben Carson?? Kidding aside, don't think this falls under political correctness. I think it's media and social media to a large extent taking someone's words out of context. I agree with that. Not sure who was "offended" by Doug's remarks or thought they were politically incorrect. Think we're confusing terms a bit here.
  15. Is there a thread for this already? Whaley's comments "Humans are not supposed to play football" is trending all over social media. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/05/buffalo-bills-doug-whaley-football-violent-humans-play
  16. Not really. Mostly around night clubs, EDM, DJs, etc. The clubs have overtaken gambling as the #1 revenue generator in Las Vegas.
  17. Did they disclose what the injury was? Torn labrum? Interesting how he had it as a freshman and now needs surgery. I tore my labrum lifting weights my sophmore year playing college call. Just rehabbed and strengthened muscles around it and played out junior and senior year without major issues. Still feel a little pain from time to time, but didn't need to get the surgery.
  18. http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl-news/4702444-donald-trump-buffalo-rex-ryan-bills-coach Apparently Trump is under the impression Rex is good endorsement for Buffalonians?
  19. Agreed. His production in our system has been stellar. On a more pass heavy team, his numbers would be even bigger. We're just scratching the surface with him. Got to continue to get him more touches. A BUBBLE OR TUNNEL SCREEN ONCE IN A WHILE PLEASE??
  20. Should have locked him up after last season. Would have gotten a much more reasonable price. He is going to improve and perform well this season. If he is anywhere close to what he did last season (doesn't even have to be as good), some team will give him a big contract, because that's how QB starved the league is.
  21. Ha! Get out of here with those facts. They don't fit my preconceived world view and economic theory.
  22. The city of Philadelphia smells like garbage. Literally, Philly stinks... horribly. There is a layer of disgusting grease covering mostly everything as well, including the people. Buffalo does not have those problems, thankfully. So at least there's that.
  23. Have you read collision low crossers? There's no way Weeks will be in charge of anything except holding Rex's headset and opening beers for the rest of the coaching staff during meetings. And if he is named the coach... just another horrible personnel decision by Rex.
  24. I feel pretty confident that if Hogan stays healthy, Brady is going to make him look pretty darn good. I don't think he is going to be an All-Pro or anything, but I think he will put up much bigger numbers than either of the past two seasons and a lot of people in here are going to be surprised. It was the right move for the Bills to let him go at that price, however. He is a pretty good player, but he was underutilized. Can't justify that CAP space for a guy we don't throw to often in a team that is very run heavy.
