  1. They complement each others abilities very well with putting different wrinkles in what the defense needs to watch for. Add in shakir and the balance is great. It would just matter on game plan and play calling at that point. Watch early in season when both on field together.
  2. Palmer and Coleman on field together is the recipe for success going toward playoffs.
  3. but the offense was on a heater at the end. The soft shell d scheme blew it. To McDermotts credit, the Chiefs playoff game he started out with a completely different style than normal and was playing to win. in the end though reverted back to coaching scared and playing not to lose, which cost them the game.
  4. he looked great in the Ravens game though
  5. pre game planning by coaches set the tone last week and the players responded accordingly. Hopefully they can get palmer and coleman going this week together, those two are the key for this seasons success in the passing game.
  6. If you go back and watch the Ravens game, immediately after the last Henry TD you can see the look on Josh's face of knowing this defense plan will never get us to the end. The offense ended up opening up big time that game and Coleman was great too, but they have not opened up much again since then.
  7. Spagnoulo might be worth a look, he knows how josh plays best. keep beane.
  8. Anyone doubting Coleman this year should go back and watch the Ravens game. I think the effort and attitude from all of the players is reflective of the gameplan that is given each week.
  9. Taylor Swift carries more weight than Cardi B with Goodell.
  10. they knew Bills coaches were coming in looking to play it safe and be very vanilla. They knew they could stack and press as there was zero threat for long plays. They also knew that it would take at least 1st half for Bills to adjust out of that, or them being up big. Up 16 Bills were not adjusting gameplan.
  11. Coleman was drafted to beat the Chiefs cbs physicality in the playoffs, worthy and ladd did not fit what the coaching staff was looking for. Not sure if he deserves the hate for how they use him. I do think he should have come up with the tipped ball vs dolphins this week, but his run blocking does seems good still if looking at effort.
  12. The league knows mcdermott/Brady want to play a safe offensive plan. The defense knows the wr are running short routes or screens. So just 3.5 seconds of tough or press coverage is all they need. Then you get to the qb quickly after that. The sacks don't appear to be jail breaks through the line.
  13. Oh how I would love an offense that attacks rather than plays it too safe again. But that is at odds with what the head coach wants.
  14. How much of Brady's scheme is shaped by what the head coach is looking to do in that game. A lot of people here blame Brady but it is also possible he is calling plays in a smaller window of possibilities. Could also be just Brady who succeed with Chase and jefferson and burrow so who wouldn't.i think there is more possibility the play calling is being limited by overall game plan.
  15. Players fed off of coaching planning and overlooking game.
  16. The playclock should not be getting to 4
  17. They went in trying to win that game, this one they just want to get over and be healthy
  18. This drive will show if McDermott still just wants to get through unhurt, or if he want to go out and try to win.
  19. Terrible game prep, can tell they didn't take this game seriously and were looking to just get through unhurt. Players got the signal and play likewise
  20. Ran 10 minutes off clock for nothing. I'm sure game plan was to just get through week and run clock, but need adjustment out of that.
  21. Sure are taking their sweet time running plays while down two scores
  22. Coaching did not take this game seriously and players got the message.
