    hopefully the coaches are pre game planning some urgency and rythym instead of focusing on slowing the game and dragging the play clock.

    its the pregame planning by coaching, and not allowing them to get into a good rythym. too much trying to slow the game down at the beginning.

    Yes, except he needs to realize what they have done is probably as far as McDermott is going to take them. But if they are good with being competitive in playoffs but lose then no change needed.

    Teams know McDermott s tendencies for game plan and being conservative and run clock when he's nervous about losing (vs big competition). So they can align defense play calling accordingly.
