  1. That’s a guy that I threw out as a possibility. They can slide Ridley into his role, save money and gain as asset. Would you send the Ragland pick for Sanu? I would I think (although I’d prefer a 5th or 6th). Maybe a conditional 5th that can become a 4th?
  2. The irony is Fitzpatrick is 2013 was a WAY better player than Bledsoe in 2003.
  3. Why doesn’t it make sense? Teams don’t trade top 2 receivers when they are a playoff team. The Falcons are 15 months removes from a 25 point Super Bowl lead. Established superstars don’t get dealt. They especially don’t get traded from good teams. This rumor is absurd and should be treated as such.
  4. It was debunked immediately. It was from IC Bob or someone like that. He said that the Bills were offering a 2019 1st.
  5. I think that it is much more likely Allen succeeds than either of those 2. Multiple NFL teams had Allen at the top of their board in a great QB draft. Losman was thought of as a reach in 2004 (although not a massive one). He would have been like taking Rudolph at 22. He was down a tier (at least) from the top. EJ was considered a total project in arguably the worst QB draft ever. If he were in this class he may very well have been a day 3 pick. All 3 had obvious deficiencies but Allen is certainly would have been considered the best of the 3 at this juncture. There was a poster here who will remain anonymous that preferred Karlos Williams to Zeke before Zeke played a game for that reason.
  6. I firmly believe that the Bills are going DL in the first. I think that they’d LOVE Nick Bosa. An elite pass rusher is sort of the last major piece on this young defense. It’s very possible though that they don’t get a shot at him. They may very well end up with a 3 technique to replace Kyle. The 2019 draft will be ridiculous up front. I would also think that WR is a big consideration. AJ Brown is possible if they go real early but Anthony Johnson from UB is another option. The Bills looked at all of the top guys this year and tried to trade up for Christian Kirk. They feel there is a need near the top of that depth chart. I’d expect one early or one in free agency.
  7. I may be on the minority but felt that he was a total JAG. He was the guy that always got picked on in big situations . He was nowhere near the player that NRC was. Johnson wasn’t horrible but was totally expendable. The Bills tried to upgrade at a lower price.
  8. If the Bills traded for him they would be the first team in history to have 2 first round busts named Erik (or Ereck) Flowers.
  9. I know that I keep banging the drum for 2019 but it is a special year on the DL. Bosa, Oliver, Lawrence, Gary, Wilkins, Ferrell, Bryant, etc... AJ Brown is a number 1 WR and it is entirely possible that the kid from UB goes in round 1 as well. The Bills will add an elite talent. There are rookie Pro Bowlers in that class. I’m setting the over/under on 5.
  10. I don’t disagree at all. I have said that I think Josh Allen needs a whole year. It doesn’t sound that Beane is in agreement with that. They are trying to push him onto the field.
  11. Nathan Peterman? Beane is already trying to prepare people that Allen will be going earlier than some of us anticipated. Peterman will be lucky to be on this roster. If Allen is anywhere close, Peterman gets cut (maybe goes on the PS).
  12. I like to parlay the over to the over for a hundred
  13. Think that you are confusing the QBs. Rudolph went at 79.
  14. I’m on record that I would have been okay at 53 or 56 if the other 5 QBs were gone. I would have hated 22. This isn’t hindsight coming from me. It’s documented.
  15. I wouldn’t have been as nice about that pick (especially considering he would have been an option at 65).
  16. The story was that the 2019 1st wasn’t on the table so 3 1st rounders weren’t out there.
  17. Sorry man, but he’s almost certainly 1 & definitely top 5. He’s considered a better prospect. That doesn’t mean that he will be better. His brother went 3 and has excelled. This kid is more highly thought of (even by his own coaches) AND has the track record of his brother’s success. Where do you expect him to be picked?
  18. Maybe not, but Nick was a bigger recruit. He is also more powerful. It is a stretch to say that he will be better but unlike Peyton and Eli, Nick was always thought of as the superior prospect.
  19. He might slide to 2. Bosa is going to be ridiculous. I think that he is better than his brother and he’s been quite good. I could live with Dexter Lawrence or Ed Oliver as a plan b.
  20. The point is you don’t have to be a Kool-Aid drinker or overly negative. Just be honest. I loved getting Zay last year. I thought after his senior bowl performance he would be great. So far it looks like I am wrong (although he still has time). I have concerns about Allen and preferred Rosen. I hope that I’m wrong again.
  21. I frequent this board to discuss the Bills. I applaud what I like and question what I don’t. That doesn’t mean that I am right or wrong. It is just my opinion. I’m not going to blindly support something that I don’t agree with. I’m also not going to dump on something because of previous mistakes. I’m not going to wait for something to be good or bad to say, “I told you so” or “these guys are idiots.” At the same time I always support the Bills and hope for the best. In terms of Allen he wasn’t my first choice. I wanted Rosen. I had no issue with the price paid. It wasn’t an overpay and they got their guy. I will support him and hope that they are right.
  22. I’m just going to wear Allen Edmonds shoes. That way I’ve got it covered.
