  1. It depends to me on where we end up picking. I’d probably go defense in the top 3 to 5. Those players are a tier above IMO. If they pick later than that there are some offensive options (including Williams) that would be good picks. I think that that some of these guys may be better than Woods too. The point that I was trying to make is that I think there are a bunch of guys that can be 60 catch, 800 yard and 7 TD types. You COULD conceivably end up with 2 guys like that. He is so explosive. Brown could possibly break 4.3. He’d add some much needed speed and big play ability to pair with Allen. I think that Allen is never going to be a guy that dinks and dunks down the field. His ball placement isnt like a Brees. What Allen can do is zing the ball down the field. The Bills will score with explosive plays. Brown is the type of guy that can do that.
  2. It doesn’t look as good as 2020 which is loaded but it is better than last year. I’m not sure that there are a ton of future number 1 receivers in this draft but there will be some. It also feels like a good group on day 2. There are a bunch of guys that could be like “Robert Woods quality.” If the Bills did something like signed Tyrell Williams, drafted Kelvin Harmon and Parris Campbell they would be a mile ahead of where they are now. I’m not sure that they’d have a Hopkins or Brown that dominates but they, along with Zay, would be a balanced WR room.
  3. I think that the bolded is the most important part. We have a MASSIVE need and hopefully they can raise the talent level. It shouldn’t be tough to do.
  4. I’m not against that. My point is that if it is big like Benjamin OR a route runner like Doug Baldwin I’d rather Baldwin. Antonio Brown is the ultimate prototype. He runs the whole route tree, gains separation, takes it to the house. Big plays are so important in today’s NFL.
  5. Better than Peterman but not ideal
  6. The defense finally played a good game I thought. I actually thought they were going to lose today so I’m quite pleased with the final score.
  7. I know people are hung up on these big bodied “open when they aren’t” guys. Not me, give me separation and explosion. Samuel is a decent size and runs throw tackles. He can also go the distance. I’d love to add both of those guys.
  8. Tide are on now. It’s an interesting test for their offense. Mississippi State MAY have the best front 7 in the country. They have 2 guys that will go in the first this year and the defense has allowed the fewest TDs in the nation. Let’s see how they hold up against the ‘Bama juggernaut.
  9. He has one of the strongest arms ever. I have no idea if he will ever be a good NFL QB.
  10. Brees has already thrown 18 TDs and has 1 INT. If he were here though he would have 3 TDs and 16 INTs. Brees is on pace for 36 TDs and 2 INTs. If he were in Buffalo those numbers would be 5 TDs and 28 INTs. Brees is on pace to throw for 4,700 yards. If he were here it would be 2,400. I guess I didn’t realize QBs were so interchangeable? I always thought that they were an important part of the offense.
  11. Ladies, find you a man that looks at you the way that Kevin 1778 looks at Nate Peterman.
  12. He had started 4 games in the last 8 years!! That’s tells you how inept your boy was. They had to pull this old man off of the golf course because NP wasn’t an option to ever play. You said that “no QB could succeed in this environment.” Do you believe that Drew Brees would throw for 2,416 yards, 5 TDs and 28 INts?
  13. Alright, come on. You are Sean McDermott aren’t you?
  14. Talking to a rock?!! The QBs are on pace to throw 5 TDs and 28 INTs!! They are doing that in this era. You don’t believe that is an issue.
  15. No, his 30.7 rating is elevating those around him. You’re right
  16. I can’t wait to see the next thread that he starts, “Tre White’s coverage is a bigger problem than Nathan Peterman.”
  17. The worst QB of all-time isn’t the problem on arguably the worst offense ever?
  18. Okay, how many threads is @Kevin1778 going to start trying to extend Peterman’s career? This entire season was about one thing, Josh Allen. If he is healthy enough to play, he plays. If he’s not, he doesn’t. It’s not even remotely complicated.
  19. Watching a lot of Deebo Samuel today. I love him for us. Parris Campbell is another that I want.
  20. Again, that’s the “Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round” argument. He was. So were 200+ other scrub QBs since then. Let’s not focus on 1/2 of 1%. Let’s focus on the 99.5% likelihood. There are a few incredibly rare exceptions like Daniel. The overwhelming majority play well and keep the job, play poorly and lose a job or never get a chance because of their pedigree. Peterman’s pedigree barely warranted an opportunity. He got MULTIPLE and failed every step of the way. Levi Brown was a similar type of prospect. Jeff Tuel was as well. Tuel played WAY better in his one start than Peterman has in any game that he has played. Are you outraged that he still isn’t collecting a paycheck? He is certainly more deserving.
  21. Prince sucks
  22. I’m the same. It sure feels like they are going to do everything that they can to make sure that he plays.
  23. No one is missing the point. Typically, backup QBs, get, and maintain, jobs based on their PLAY when thrown in. There is a reason that guys like McCown, Hoyer, Anderson, Matt Moore, etc.. kick around for a decade plus. It’s because they can hold down the fort for a month or so if the QB gets hurt. They have PROVEN that. Peterman has done the opposite. The only person that he has to blame for being out of the league after a year and a half is himself. I feel much much worse for guys like Levi Brown that wash out of the league without ever getting a chance to proven themselves. Maybe he could have been Nick Mullens? We don’t know. We never saw it.
  24. He would have never had Chase Daniel’s career because he doesn’t have the ability to play at that level. That’s why he will be out of the league within the next week. It isn’t the coaches’ fault that a football player, played football so poorly that no one wants to employ him. If a chef makes terrible food does he have some birthright to keep getting jobs as a chef?
  25. Yeah, the guy could have made millions playing football, if people never saw him play football.
