  1. I think a lot of what Augie said is true. Additionally, the Chiefs just won a Super Bowl playing 4 WRs regularly. This draft is incredibly deep at WR. You may get a guy at 54 that you couldn’t have gotten at 22 in some drafts. You draft to the strength of a draft because better players are available in the positions that the draft is strong at. There are A LOT of reasons that WR will be considered. The Bills are going to draft BPA. They always do. We talk positions way more than the team does. This team doesn’t have a lot of needs (another RB is the only glaring hole for 2020). They’re going to take as many good players as they can regardless of position.
  2. There are a few guys that I like that are a little underrated IMO. I like Bellamy from Western Michigan. He has explosive playmaking ability and will be a good 3rd down back. A year ago at this time I was banging the table for the Bills to take Singletary (humble brag). I wouldn’t be even a little mad if they added Bellamy late to be the change of pace guy. He has a nose for the end zone (remember we need more TD makers). I think KJ Hill will play for a long time in the NFL. He just does a lot well. He isn’t the most physically gifted (except for his hands). He just is really dependable. I could see him being the kind of guy that catches a lot of balls without a ton of yards. In some ways, he’s kind of a poor man’s Jarvis Landry to me. He’s a guy that’s probably going to go in the 4th round that I think will catch 60+ balls a season. That feels like good value to me. Alex Highsmith is my last guy. He’s probably not a super deep sleeper but he’s another mid-round guy that I like. Highsmith makes a lot of plays behind the LOS. He might get knocked a little for playing in a so-so conference but a lot of rushers did. He could be this year’s Maxx Crosby. He’s a guy that a year from now we may all agree was way under-drafted.
  3. I went into the picture on my phone and clicked on it. It gave me the option at the bottom to resize it
  4. I think this is interesting. I’m always more interested in who is leaking what to get what they want? It’s interesting nonetheless.
  5. There are a lot of good receivers in this class. It may be the best WR class ever at this point. It’s certainly the deepest. With that being said the Bills will draft BPA. That’s what they do. That’s what they always do. That’s what they should do. You draft the best players. It may be a WR. It may be a RB. It may be a DB. It may be an edge. It may be an OL. The board determines who you draft.
  6. I took him with the Raiders 2nd 1st rounders in the first draft. He’s a guy that I think scouts will be higher on than talking heads. I think he’s going to be a really good pro.
  7. With the 6th pick of the 2nd round, the Carolina Panthers select Zack Baun, OLB Wisconsin. The Panthers are absolutely THRILLED to draft the former high school QB. He’s a late bloomer with pro bowl potential. The Panthers have been working to rebuild their defense and have need at LB as well as pass rusher. Baun can fill multiple roles and will be a key piece moving forward. We needed someone to make plays behind the LOS and he fits nicely across from last year’s first round pick Brian Burns. Burns, Okudah and Baun is the start of a nice defensive nucleus. @NewEra and the Miami Dolphins are now in the clock.
  8. That’s why I chose Carolina. They have pick 69!
  9. I’m with you and I’m not a Josh lover (or hater) either. There’s a lot to like about Josh and he’s WAY ahead of guys like Carr or Minshew IMO. If you called Jacksonville tomorrow and offered them 1 for 1 they would send the paperwork back before you hung up the phone. Right now Josh is in that 10-15 range with a chance to go higher.
  10. FWIW, I don’t think that there is even a debate in the Bills situation. When you are ready to win you have to have a number 2 that you can count on for a month to 6 weeks. It’s like the Saints with Teddy last year. Brees went down and he was 5-0. If you’re a team like Jacksonville trying to rebuild a young guy is a better investment. They are worth the lottery ticket. The Bills need stability. We aren’t accustomed to that but that’s what happens when you are a contender.
  11. I’m in the veteran camp. This team’s window is now open. It’s early in that window but it’s open. If Josh misses a month or 6 weeks they need someone that can be .500. With a shortened offseason I’ll take my chances with a decent vet over a rookie. Brissett (if he shook loose) and Keenum were the 2 guys I had my eye on. Brissett is still possible I suppose. I’d deal a mid to late round pick for him yesterday. I think there’s an out in his contract after this year too (could be wrong and don’t feel like looking it up). You could add him and give him an extension that a top backup would have.
  12. Not sure where to put this but here’s the most “bust-proof” guy in the draft (comments are pretty funny):
  13. That’s the point. A school doesn’t determine if a guy will be good or bad. It’s a player and their traits. Jamarcus Russell played at LSU. He was the 1st pick and a massive bust. Ben played at Miami of Ohio and is going to the HOF. That doesn’t mean that Burrow will be terrible and the next QB from Miami will go to the HOF. What AJ McCarron has done as a pro has nothing to do with Tua.
  14. I trust DBs from LSU and OSU the most. They really, really develop them. Fulton will be a good player as will Delpit (despite him sliding).
  15. FWIW, teams are ready for the 2021 draft now. They’ve scouted everyone and have books on the players. Obviously things change but they 100% know the strengths, weaknesses and depth of the draft the following year. They haven’t finished their work but have a pretty good sense of what it will look like. BLESTO and National meetings are right after this draft I think
  16. @Blokestradamus there was a punter that did 25 reps on the bench at the combine
  17. I have no idea where he’s been. I didn’t read too much on it. 2015 to 2020 was just shocking to me. That’s crazy
  18. I’ll bring you up to speed on everything that you’ve missed. There is a lot of talent in the SEC (specifically Alabama and LSU). There are a couple of guys from Iowa that are going to go in the 1st (as there always seems to be lately). The 3 best players in the draft play at or played at Ohio State. There are lots of wide receivers, good tackles and running backs. The draft is thin at IOL and edge. Probably looking at 4-5 first round QBs. Burrow has the fewest question marks which is why he’s going 1. There, that should get you caught up...
  19. Sounds like teams are pretty split on them at this point. It’s going to be interesting IMO to see who goes first. I don’t like it. I don’t like it one bit.
  20. @Blokestradamus where have you been?!? We need you this time of year
  21. Fair enough and he was obviously in consideration. I was SO tempted to say Love but if he ends up as Mahomes I’ll never hear the end of it. I chickened our and picked a guy that will keep me more anonymous. Do you trust Miami of Ohio QBs in the NFL?
  22. Herbert, Love, Chaisson, Becton I actually found this pretty easy. Biggest bust potential to me is always a high ceiling, low floor prospect. These guys all check those boxes IMO. If I have to pick one I’ll pick Chaisson.
  23. I tend to agree here Gunner without soundly like too much of a homer. Okudah and Young to me are the 2 guys in this draft that are “idiot proof.” They get off the bus as high level NFL players with a chance to be elite. There’s pretty much no chance that either is worse than really good IMO (and I’ve seen every snap that they’ve played). When you add in the fact that they play premium positions it’s hard to imagine falling outside of the top 5.
  24. I think the story is something like that. They were super close and were just on this bender for a while. My memory is a little fuzzy on it but remember it being messy.
