  1. Now saying they were actually couriors that lived in Bin Ladens' mansion...there was no internet connection, all communications were done by courior. Intelligence began tracking the couriors...that seems so old school. Congrats to the military, and thank-you all of you!
  2. CNN reporting Bin Laden was shot in the head... key intelligence information was obtained from detainees.
  3. You are such a turd. Go back to Philadelphia...
  4. Slag off !@#$! For all of you questioning Obama's "leadership"...bite it!
  5. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED?
  6. The correspondence dinners have been going on for years...not sure what Trump expected, why he would even intend. I am starting to think David Letterman is right, Trump has no intention of running. He never has...
  7. He only "confessed" after I wasted hours trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with the damn thing...and only after he confessed to his mother, who made him confess to me... Oh well. The PS3 was more for his benefit than mine...the only game I owned is Madden 11, and I hated it...this dog is too old to learn new tricks! I used it primarily as a blu-ray player. I had somebody here (WVU) going out of his way to figure out what was wrong with the damn thing. Man do I feel stupid! Not PPP stupid, mind you, but stupid nonetheless! As for the number of HDMI ports, I have use one for my cable, and one for a HDMI disc burner. So, I guess I could just unplug the burner if I need to use the PS3. What is strange to me, still, when I had the blu-ray hooked up to the bad port, it does bring up a blu-ray insignia when I first turn the machinge on, before going black. Maybe it is just a short?
  8. Yes...I think Target has a good (liberal) return policy...that really sucks though... Any idea what could cause the port to go bad? Can they overheat and burn out, without affecting the rest of the tv? When I thought the PS3 had died, my girl friends son later confessed to me, that he had left the PS3 on for a solid day...he didn't turn it off. Although the PS3 was fairly new, and barely used, I assumed it just died form overheating...
  9. Holy ****! It is the port! It never dawned on me that it could be bad. I just tried hooking up the PS3 on another port, and it works fine, with the old cord. I had left it for dead. What could cause that? Any idea how much it would cost to get it fixed? How frustrating...I just purchased a blu-ray player I don't really need!
  10. It is the same HDMI cable I used with the PS3, the damn player didn't come with one... I just tried to connect it to the HDM1 port, no signal. Maybe it is the cable? What is hard for me to understand though, if it is the port, or the cable, why do I get a "Panasonic blu-ray" logo when I first power it on? Doesn't that indicate the tv is receiving a signal?
  11. I have a problem...it may be something simple, but I can't figure it out, and the manual (tv & blu ray player) is of no help. It is a Toshiba XV46 model television. The Blu-ray is a Panasonic. I am somewhat "challanged" in this area at times...I am hoping it is something simple. I just purchased a blu-ray player, and am trying to connect it to the HDMI3 input port on my television. Using a HDMI cord, I connected it to the HDMI3 input port, with an HDMI cord. When I power up the blu-ray player, I get the "blu-ray" logo for about 5 seconds. and then the screen just goes black. I cannot go in and do the "set-up" for the player. I used standard RCA cords, and connected the player to the "Video 1" input port on the tv, and it works, so it isn't the blu-ray player. That would be fine, but, as you know, you can't get the 1080 signal with the RCA cords. What am I doing wrong? I would think this would be a fairly simple hook-up. At one time, I had a Sony PS3 connected to the HDMI3 port, but the PS3 died, or so I thought. Is it possible that the input port is just damaged? Any input would be appreciated.
  12. Holy crap...are the Grizzlies ieatcranyonz "feel good story"? Knock off the #1 seed in the West, and up 1-0 on the Thunder...impressive win for Memphis!
  13. I am not going to say that Bills fans are worse than other fans, but fans in general kinda suck, when it comes to this stuff. Fans want football players to play with passion and emotion. The minute they show that emotion in a forum we don't feel is appropriate, we eat them up like sharks. We want them to be balls to the walls, go all out, on the field, but crucify them for being emotional off the field. They are only human folks...it doesn't matter how much money they make.
  14. I still think, TD had this franchise in much better shape than the mess that ensued afterward. Had he not been canned when he was, I am pretty sure we wouldn't be talking about an 11 year playoff drought. TD was aggressive, but he was fiscally responsible too. One thing people forget, TD, while he made blunders, always kept the team salary cap in good shape, and, never overpaid free-agents. When Levy/Brandon "took charge" they not only oversaw some of the most worthless drafts in franchise history, they over-payed really mediocre to awful, free agents. Donohoe left the franchise in good financial condition. You can criticize him all you want for some draft picks that didn't pan out (nobody thought Mike Williams was a bad pick on draft day that year), but TD did have a way of making you get excited about this franchise. Excitement is something that has been missing since he left. It is no disrespect for Marv Levy...the blame for his ineffectiveness rests at Ralph Wilson's feet. He never should have hired him to begin with. I give Levy a lot of credit for realizing it was a bad fit, and stepping down when he did.
  15. As much as I don't like him on the draft coverage, I think he is okay on MNF, but I really did enjoy the QB Camp shows. I must say, I don't get the NFL Network. I haven't seen much of their draft coverage. Every time I go to my folks house, back in Buffalo, I get all amped about being able to see the NFL Network...but after a while, it isn't all that much better than ESPN. Too many stuffed shirts, and ex-player yahoos...maybe I am just getting old, but as much as I used to enjoy all this stuff, it is mostly just a lot of noise now... Which NFL Network guys are working the draft?
  16. So says Mr Negative...good enough for the Pats!
  17. I think if it was up to Rico, there would be no QB'S in the game of football!
  18. I think that has been happening for a few years now...but really, none of them are any better than Kiper. They are all wrong about things...it is all just speculation. What I like about Kiper, he takes it all very personally...he is a true draft nerd. The other guys are just hacks, stealing his bit.
  19. Actually, the more I hear Gruden, the less I like him...the further removed he gets from the game, he will sound more and more like someone just doing a routine...anyone who really enjoys the NFL Draft, as a fan event, should really appreciate Kiper...
  20. I hate you and don't feel sorry for you...and I tell people you are from SoCal...I got your back!
  21. I guess you are stuck in the "can't chew gum and walk at the same time" mode of the previous administration.
  22. Celtics winning is the one that makes my heart-warmed...the rest? Ehh...
  23. You are adding context to the issue, which wasn't there...obi wan!
