I've been to several other NFL stadiums and the fan behavior towards opposing fans is nowhere near the level of RWS. In addition, nowhere did I see the numbers of "out of their mind" drunks that is seen at RWS. From what I have seen and read, I think the "atmosphere ranking" in terms of treatment of opposing fans seems fair.
PS That being said, I have not been to Philly or some of the other notorious venues for opposing fans to enter.
Oops...wrong thread. I meant to post this in the thread with the SI poll..

Coulda, shoulda, woulda...

What the hell is wrong with our atmosphere? I love it there. It's the atmosphere that is my favourite thing about going. Sundays at the Ralph are my absolute favourite thing to do.
I guess you didn't bother to click on the Bills logo and read the detail...

I'll be disappointed if they let him back...EVER. Goodell let him back in this year despite all his troubles and what does he get in return? Not even halfway through the season, the jerkoff is in trouble again.
Kick him out for good and let him see what life is like in the CFL.

What was up with what appeared to be A LOT of empty seats in the upper deck down the 1st and 3rd base lines?

When Stroud and Schobel are healthy, the pass rush will be awesome! If it still sucks after they are healthy, there will be 100 different excuses as to why the front four can't generate a pass rush and none of them will be Schobel's fault!

Davis was a BEAST in college and seemed to be a "can't miss" pro prospect.
So was Mike Williams. What's your point?

<CL cover your eyes> How are the negotiations going? Its real f***ing convenient when you want to watch Ch. 4 news. F*** LIN, F*** TW and F*** your goodwill gesture of handing out .25 cent antennas.
I don't give a sh-- if FIOS costs more than TW. As soon as it is available in my area, I'm switching.

I voted for #2(even though you can't see her body). Is the contest hottest hockey mom or biggest slut.

Is this a joke? If so, props to you...
It's not a joke. I was having a fit last year when they kept trotting O'Neill out there to play DE.
-
Last year, him and Kelsay played almost every snap of the first eight games because we didn't have any backups.
Not true. There were plenty of times early in the season when the long snapper/alleged DE O'Neill was in the game because the DL coach was hell bent on his rotation.

Classy. If you fail to appreciate the difference between a thoughtful analysis of the team's strengths/weaknesses, and a knee-jerk reaction to one loss, that's your issue.
What difference does it make if it is a thoughtful analysis or a knee jerk reaction? Everyone reacts differently, but it doesn't mean they are less of a Bills fan than anyone else. Back to your pulpit now and spread the good word according to eball.

AFL games on NBC with Curt Gowdy during the late '60's. Lamonica, Biletnikoff, Dawson, Namath, Boozer, Alworth, Hadl, etc...
Unfortunately I was too young to remember the Bills glory years of 64 and 65.

But then again some people will tell you that Ellis needs to start.
Any talk of Ellis starting is ridiculous, but you do have to wonder why a guy who came out of college touted as a pass rushing specialist hasn't got to the point where he is ACTIVE for a game instead of Copeland friggin' Bryan on a team that continues to have pass rushing problems.

I agree with you that analyzing a game or positional strength is not a problem. My problem is with the people who were saying how good we were 2 weeks ago that are now saying we suck, without hesitation or analysis. Many in the national media are now dismissing us and saying I guess those wins were just because of the weak opponents.
Who cares what the media says(except for those who need more hobbies) and for the few who go overboard after a loss, ignore them. They come and they go every year on TBD.

It makes it more fun for the rest of us. I've never read so much criticism of a 4-1 first place team in my life -- most of it from fans who haven't seen a Bills' team 3 games over .500 since they were in the crib.
Stop preaching and realize that analyzing a football game, good and bad, is what fans do, win or lose. If you don't want to recognize that, put on your rose colored glasses, go in the corner and suck your thumb everytime you see a post that you don't agree with.
Carry on.

Anyone mentioning Schobel's nasty foot injury in this thread yet? Just wondering if in our criticisms we are remembering he's been playing hurt.
How "nasty" was the injury since he played most of the game? If your hurt don't play and if you are healthy enough to play and your play was subpar, don't use the "nasty" injury as an excuse.
Bottom line, Schobel isn't getting the job done(even after they brought in the DT that was going to allow Schobel to run wild). I don't care how many passes he defensed(as was brought up earlier this week) or how many tackles he made downfield.
Hold your position at the line of scrimmage and allow the LBers to shoot the gaps and make some tackles on running plays and somehow come up with another pass rush move other than orbiting the earth in order to get to the QB.

I'm sure he will be fine.
Unfortunately none of us know how serious this is. He could play against San Diego a week and a half from now or the concussion symptoms could linger for weeks or months on end.
-
Schobel.....he was talking about his lack of production according to the media...said something like....."You can tell that to Sullivan"
WAAAHHHHH! Go home and look at your savings account balance and I'm sure you'll get over it.
-
Trent will be fine.
I guess you are not familiar with Tim Connolly?

The Red Sox and Dodgers would make for great TV ratings.
-
I always liked Winfield more than Clements and I still think Whitey should have signed Winfield to a long term contract and either let Clements walk or franchise him for a year or so(if they were ready to make a run).
If so, we wouldn't have drafted 3 CB's this year.

Possibly my all-time favorite Seinfeld moment...
ELAINE: You want a Christmas card? You want a Christmas card? All right here. [rubs George's head on her breasts] Here's your Christmas card.
