  1. I rarely ever post on this site, because I like to use it as a fun way to keep in touch with the team and fans, but this type of post makes my blood boil. I am a white, middle aged, blue collar, veteran, and I find it disgusting that people think you have to be so against anything that this man does. Why not have some stinking empathy for those that are being trivialized and marginalized in OUR society, and not get so upset because an African American man is using his that he earned as platform to try to stymie racial tension. Take a step back and imagine if a company like Nike or UA said they were going to make a new shoe that had a symbol that was used by people who targeted you, your family, your community. How could you not say something? How as someone who loves this country can you not be enraged that it is 2019 and we still have organized hate groups here. That in the land of the free people are still hated just because of something so stupid as the color of your skin? That is what we should be upset about. If you are offended by this shoe not being sold, I truly feel it is not because of your love of the flag, it is for hatred and ignorance of something else. If you do love the flag, you would never want it to be a symbol of hate. Iif you disagree, you may want to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself if you love is stronger than your ignorance. Most of us had no idea that the Betsy Ross flag was used as a sign of hate; even less knew that the shoes were even being made, so how are you so butt hurt when this is being stopped? How does this infringe on your rights as a white, middle aged, blue collar man? Now the senator is going to cancel plans for a plant there, that is such a short sited, ignorant thing to do. Now the local economy will suffer because a company will not support a hate group's symbol. Ignorance and fear.
  2. My goodness this city deserves/wants a winner so F-Bombing bad!
  3. NFL Network - Rich Eisen is the man, and I will not be able to watch Mel Kiper after I eat dinner.
  4. It was Mike Mayock on NFL Network. I think he said he mostly felt bad for the young man who was picked that way. He said they took away the chance for him to hear his name called on him being chose and accomplishing his dream of making it to the NFL. That got stolen from him for some cheap gimmick. I get where he is coming from, but I think he was a little upset at it because all these distractions take away from the actual Draft. I miss having it all day Sat. We would all get together in the morning, make some breakfast, have some beers and sit on the coach and make it a whole day. This three day garbage is the worst change they have made in a long time.
  5. My brain hurts after reading that... but if it works, Id take it!
  6. Russ Brandon, he has warped our minds and expectations of an off season with promises of players returning to their former glory when they put on a Bills Helmet. You don't think Cushing would be all over the promotions for season tickets if he did sign with us? I think sometimes people do not look to see what they were last year, just that they once were good and that is all they need, something to hope for.
  7. Fingers crossed for this to happen. Also excited to see what other free agents there are. Read that Rams are going to be cutting Robert Quinn and Mark Barron as cap casualties. I would hope we go after and get one or both of them! 1. I would love this draft. It depends what is available in the 1st when they pick to get BOTH DT but would make a weakness a strength like they did with the DBs last year. Jewell is a mad man and I want him here bad, Bozeman will know our OC, and what he is looking for. 2. Eh on Bradford, but if he is cheap and healthy I'm down. 3. Are they home or away? 4. How great would this make us look to the rest of the league if he comes back because he wants to! 5. I would rather the Bills be an underdog all year, and as long as Brady is there they are the favorite.
  8. I think this goes beyond passion. I am only 30 and I feel like these younger fans can't even name players on the team beyond Shady and Tyrod. They just go because the tickets are cheap and they know they can get hammered and act like idiots for a couple hours. Also Love the Avatar and name, FFT was so underrated. Just re-purchased it and played it on my ipad while flying for work. So good
  9. I think it is because of Fantasy Football. I used to watch every game I could just to soak in the games and see the games. However I do think they oversaturated the market. I don't care about a game itself anymore, just the player in it. (Besides the Bills) I don't have to watch them play now, I can just check the stats on my phone and not need to waste 3 nights (Thrus, Sun, Mon) I really think that backfired, because now young fans don't cheer for one team anymore, they cheer for players, and the can't even watch them because of their market. They just watch the highlights on social media. It doesn't help that the qbs in the league are awful except for the top 3 or 4. Nobody wants to watch Tom Savage on a Monday Night. I know I didnt.
  10. Everyone is complaining about how much we lost.... Its not like we are losing the key part of a winning team. The same post says all our players are bad.... Then who cares if they walk? Gilmore was not key to us winning any games, we werent a good D WITH HIM..... Bob Woods....never took over any games that he will be missed. Goodwin....please.... People complaining just to complain. If you hate everything that they are doing before they even do it, just become an NFL fan and stop posting.
  11. This makes me happy in all the right spots.
  12. I thought you weren't allowed to use the ball as a prop, coordinate a celebration with other team members, or spike the ball. Then you see on the primetime NFL games "GRONK" gets an illegal pick gets the touchdown then goes on to spike the ball. Sometimes he even hands it to other players such as lineman to spike the ball.... and the announcers just laugh,,,,, or those say something along the lines of "Those crazy Patriots like to have fun huh" Could you imagine if Hughes got a fumble recovery and handed the ball to Mario and he spiked it. The refs would probably throw their arms out of socket trying to throw the flag as fast as they could.
  13. Crock Pot, a block of Velveeta Cheese, 2 lbs of cooked beef and a jar of salsa. Cut the cheese up into cubes, throw them in the crock pot. Enjoy with Nachos or on Burgers/Hot dogs. So easy and so good
  14. Really now we are blaming the fans for not cheering? What a joke this board is such a bunch of wimps and excuse makers. I am done with the Bills and TBD
