  1. What a complete d bag. He is just so unlikeable. From his toddler tantrums, begging for flags, screaming at teammates and this crap, I don’t know how anyone could like him as a player. I know nothing of him as a man. But the way he behaves on the field, reflects poorly on who I think he probably is as a person. Selfish, impatient, self-centered and yet can hide behind his past success while selling it as “passion”
  2. I think the Bills are much more suited for this style of run game. The pin and pull allows for the Bills quick and fleet footed OL to use their angles and misdirection to hastily take a strategic advantage of the defenders presnap alignment. They are multiple in the way they use this, with numerous combinations of who moves, who pins, etc. Mitch Morse does his best work on the move, and guys like Bates, Brown and Dawkins are all more than capable. Those RPOs on the other hand, don’t see nearly as much success because of how slowly they develop, while relying on bodies to move bodies. It’s way more of a “line up and move these men” which frankly, our guys are often beat or don’t create nearly enough wash up front for their to be success regularly. They just aren’t built for that. When Buffalo played Baltimore, I loved watching their ISO run game with Pat Ricard on Tremaine Edmunds. I was thinking to myself, man I wish we have a play as quick hitting and powerful. Then you remember your personnel, and realize that’s just not something we’re built for. Dorsey is smart enough to realize that the ground game for Buffalo has to be a chess match, and not a d*** measuring contest. The aspect to RPOs Dorsey might find attractive is undoubtedly the fact the ball stays in your best players hands. I am certain they will continue to incorporate this, with wrinkles of bootlegs, QB keepers and more. I’m just not so crazy about the running aspect of it, although Allen seems to be finding ways to rip off chunk yardage and take advantage of off-man coverage.
  3. In the North Towns, Johnny C’s in East Amherst is my favorite. Great variety, good portions, fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Im a huge fan of the Spicy Dragon. https://www.jonnycs.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/JonnyCs_DeliMenu_JULY2022.pdf
  4. Carson Wentz come back brewing…
  5. I think that’s why it bothers me - because I think the intention is to imply toughness when in reality it feels fabricated. I’d have a lot more belief in his toughness and willingness if he did react how you describe
  6. I feel like it is all for show. It comes off as very “Look at me, I’m getting hit, but I’ll fight through it” It comes off as theatrical to me. I agree about the energy though. He seems so lifeless.
  7. Fields is constantly getting dinged up. He is always shaking something off, or getting up slowly. It was the same in college IIRC. I dislike that tough guy façade
  8. Carson Wentz has made 128 million dollars in the NFL over the past 7 years. 28 of which he is earning this year. That breaks down to be about 1.6 million per game check. Carson Wentz made 1.6 million dollars tonight. Let that sink in.
  9. NFL said, “ehhhh close enough, we need 6”
  10. Last weeks game was at least humorous. This is just ugly.
  11. Appreciate the recap. That way I can shut off WGR when they bring on Paul Hamilton
  12. Man, I just realized: The Bills play the Bears on Xmas eve… looks like we’re opening presents early this year, boys!
  13. Kirk said “Washington finally starting to string together some runs and passes and get in a groove” Uuuhhhh those were penalties but okay
  14. NFL called the refs and said throw some flags were trying to get some points in this game
  15. Wentz…99 yard TD pass like Allen in our near future? Magic 8 ball says…
  16. Al Michaels, as much as I like him as a media personality, does nothing for me with play by play. Just very monotone, no excitement in his call.
  17. Who scored? I could look myself but I feel like you want to tell me.
  18. He was in the opening preview of their defense. Maybe due to injury? nickle?
  19. Do the bears really run the ball on 60% of snaps? Holy hell could you imagine if that was the bills? This place would burn.
  20. Maybe I should rewatch chiefs raiders instead 😂
  21. Might we see a TD tonight? Did not know former bill Rashad Wildgoose starts for Washington. Am I the only one watching? I am pathetic.
  22. 2nd half run play notes: 1&10 first drive of 2nd half on the 20 -Counter to Singletary, Dawkins pulls and seals DE. Morse and Brown up to 2nd level and get on bodies decently, shakir with a nice block. Singletary for 8. 1&10 variation of pin and pull, Morse/Bates pull around with Brown and Morris down blocking onto DT and DE. Bates destroys CB at LOS, Morse leads around upfield to miss 51 Jack, he gets enough. Singletary for 6 1&10 Pin and Pull variation, this time Bates/Sweeney blocking down with Morse and Brown pulling around. Brown kicks out Safety at end of LOS, Morse leads through. Tackle made by backside backer (Bush), scraped through the mess for shoestring tackle. Singletary for 5 (Drive results in a Morris fumble from the 1) 6OL (Hart) 1&10, stretch to Cook away from strength, cuts back to the heavy side, whole OL is washing the DL, Sweeney makes the TD block here, gets enough of the DE to stake him to create whole off the back end of Hart and moves onto 2nd level to cut off safety trying to fill hole. Cook does the rest. Touchdown. Keenum Enters Game 1&10 to cook, essentially the same play he scores on out of different formation. No cut back here. OL moves the LOS with good push and Cook presses the hole. Brown Morris Bates with a good push. Gain of 6ish It is wild the only scored 38 points in this game. I’m liking what I’m seeing from the pin and pull run game (idk what they call it, tbh). I’m not so crazy about the RPOs. I think they are finding their groove up front on the ground. They will never be road graders, moving tough DLs and just muscling yards off of teams. I think their future on the ground is utilizing the speed of our lineman and using angles and misdirection to their advantage.
