  1. Do we even care who wins?
  2. So correct me if I’m missing something here…it’s either: A) He suffered a 3rd concussion this season, in the first half, and played the entire rest of the game? Again?! or B) His terrible 2nd half is being explained about by reporting of minor or even false symptoms, in an effort to make his dreadful performance understandable. Either way, this is a TERRIBLE look for the dolphins.
  3. Regarding match ups, one thing I am very concerned over is how our secondary will handle these WRs. Chase and Higgins are a great duo, and they each offer something the other does not. Chase is quick and fast, a great route runner and offers the big play potential with a lot of YAC. After watching speedy WRs running through this defense at times, I will be holding my breath after he catches quick passes because of poor tackling and bad angles. Higgins is tall and lengthy with great hands. He is a down field threat in size and good with contested catches, something the bills this year and in past years have struggled to match up against. Its my guess that you’ll see Fraiser often try and take away Chase with defensive alignment, keeping safety help over the top and in quick windows. Higgins will be tasked with winning his one on ones. Pass rush will be crucial here. Hopefully that DL keeps stepping up making plays with batted balls, and pressures.
  4. Kick the tires, Beane, amirite?
  5. Tua Turndaballova
  6. Good idea on the metal rake. The snow is clumped in ice blocks…wild.
  7. Not sure where you are. In Clarence, the drifts are making snow blowing impossible… as someone mentioned, we had high lifts down our streets yesterday but nothing since. I’m about 1/3 out of our driveway, and likely through the heaviest and biggest piles. Going back out for another round now.
  8. Lost internet. Crazy weather. Just happy to still have power. Might have to go old school radio for the game if it isn’t restored in time and the antennae can’t pick up the game Go Bills
  9. My dog got me up to go out at 3:30 in the middle of the night. Idk if it’s the sharp juxtaposition of my cozy bed and house but it is bone chilling cold, with a stinging wind throwing snow all around. Couldn’t get out of the back door due to drifts. This is crazy, when you consider my back door leads to a covered 12x20 deck. This snow is moving big time
  10. Clear that snow away from the exhaust, as I’m sure you know. In Clarence it’s been non-stop all day, likely as it has been by you. It’s really picked up the last hour. I took my dogs out and in some spots had two feet of snow, while other areas I could still see grass. It’s crazy
  11. Will Dawson Knox wear sleeves? That is the question.
  12. Home Alone for about the 10th time this year… We are big into the YouTube fitness winter chases from brain break central for the little one. Power outage for about a minute in Clarence. Back up and running for now…
  13. Winds are picking up in the north towns. We battened down the hatches as best we could last night. We’ve got two big trees next door that we are worried about hitting the house, and failed to instal a back up genny or battery powered sump pump back up, so definitely fingers crossed we don’t lose power for an extended time as a flooded finished basement is not a good early holiday gift. othewise, my girls and I aren’t going anywhere or doing anything but keeping warm, and sledding through a variety of holiday movies songs and activities. Actually quite looking forward to it! Stay safe, everyone’
  14. What a laser
  15. Zay Jones out here bein Zay Jones
  16. Wonder if Cam Lewis saw that PBU
  17. I think Josh has an outside shot looking in. The Monday night Bengals game, on the road, vs. the reigning AFC Champions who are playing very good football and in the 1 seed conversation, will loom large. If he goes out and lights in up and the biggest stage football has to offer, in a meaningful game, vs a quality opponent, I think he’s right in the conversation
  18. It’s so hard to tell what the assignment is. Even if you could figure it out, you’re 100% right: there is so much variation based on down and distance, alignment, personnel, etc. the best you can do is guess. It’s still fun to speculate and look at it through a different viewpoint. Im not sure where you get cover one from this. What you’re insinuating regarding a Hamlin bind would be a product over cover 3 zone, but running two vertical seams challenging the middle third defender to lean one way. Cover 1 man would undoubtedly have someone matched up on Waddle, even in off coverage. It’s interesting: You see White clearly point out the drag back into the formation while gaining depth in his drop, Edmunds presnap signaling the seam. It seems well coached, just poorly executed.
  19. If it’s 3, who has the other 3rd? Hamlin, White and ? Dane is clearly playing outside in while sitting on the flat/out
  20. If he was playing the deep 3rd, why’d he jump the crosser? He is almost looking like a robber dropped into the hole post-snap…also, Milano’s drop was curious as he races out to hook/curl with no outside threat. Could this potentially be cover 6 to the trips? That’s make the Poyer jump even more egregious if he was playing deep half
  21. One thing I notice Dorsey likes to do is reduce WR splits and motion WRs in On running downs. I hate this. I absolutely hate this. It just muddies the waters. It isn’t eye candy like a jet action, and it isn’t to check coverage. Idk what the idea here is, but I am yet to see some sort of PA off of it.
  22. I’ve rewatched this a ton of times trying to figure out what the coverage was supposed to be and who you’d hang the TD on. Set the scene: 3rd Quarter: 3rd&4 Dolphins in the gun, trey tight formation (3WRs to one side, TE to the opposite end of LOS). Defensive Alignment Pre Snap: Two shell look, with White playing 5-6 yards off of WR1, Taron locked on the slot (Hill) and WR 3 (Waddle) uncovered. Dane to the TE side playing a wide outside shade. Post snap: WR 1 drags across the field, pulling Edmunds up into the middle button hook. WR2 runs a skinny post, essentially attempting to hold Hamlin deep. WR 3 runs the opposite hash seam. Tua eyes the crosser on WR 1 and Poyer jumps it, only to let Waddle fly behind him for the TD, exposing what appears to be Hamlin being beat deep. Ive heard people assigning blame to #3 for this play because he is the one chasing. In my view, this appears to be on Poyer. Based on Dane’s initial alignment and drop post-snap, paired with the LBs (including Taron) who seem to be playing deep hook/curl window and White appearing to read WR2 (and calls out the drag) thus explaining his depth in his drop, makes me think this is cover 2. Am I wrong here? Is this on Hamlin like many think, or is Poyer the one that should be catching heat?
  23. Pretty sure that title goes to Nathan Peterman, who we’ll see in the sidelines vs. the Bears this weekend. Ironically, it was in 2018 AGAINST the bears where (if you don’t recall) he ended up TRYING TO SCRAMBLE IN A HAIL MARRY FROM THE 50 YARD LINE. Hilarious. We lost that game 41-9 and haven’t played them since.
