I sure hope your right. I think a lot of it is presnap reads and tells, as well. If you can get them off their mark, I think the wrinkles that the defense can throw in will disrupt the flow tremendously

Notice the Bolts DBs taking away the free release off the LOS with press alignment. Takes away the quick hitting slants and PA quick game.

Dolphins dialing up a bunch of pressure early

If Staley wasn’t an NFL head coach, he would probably be a degenerate gambler

Not sure what kind of ground game LA generally has, but not too much running room on the ground for the Chargers so far tonight

Hines is a beast. I read it here, must be true

Going to be a shoot out. Just run up the score and gas these guys out at the very least!

Either you predicted the future or my Hulu steam is very behind!

That may be all well and good. The problem is that when you invest an asset of this caliber into a player, he should be a large contributing factor playing meaningful snaps that have an impact on the game. Wether it’s on him to improve, or the coaches to get him there, is pointless right now mid-season. The problem is that they HAVE to do this and he, for whatever reason, is not helping this team at a level which you would expect him to

12/11/22 Week 14 GAMEDAY Bills vs Jets Pregame Thread

I am anticipating our largest use of man coverage this week. It’ll give McD the ability to bring different pressure packages up front and hoping to trick up Mike White. -
Bills Beer and Beer Fridge/Collections

I’m apparently too drunk to post the picture. How’d you do that? Kept telling me file was too large -
Two parts: 1) have you had any great Bills themed beers or drinks that you really enjoyed? For example, Pills Mafia, or any punny play where local football fandom meets craft brewery? I currently have in my fridge Big Berry Beane and Buffalo Proud (Resurgrnce Brewery I believe). 2) Do you have any can collectibles from old drinks? A few I have: -a can from my first Genny light back in 2007 -an orange keystone can from college circa 2010 Here is my new basement fridge. Just got it for my b-day and stocked up today will my local favorites. Would love to see you set up or collections, too! https://ibb.co/vhZjN7f

Unpopular take alert: Gabe Davis is going to be big this weekend. I know despite all the criticisms and frustrations that have surrounded him this season, he is still a talent player who has good ball skills and field awareness. Im looking for Davis to have a big game with some contested catches or toe tap grabs. I think Allen trusts him, and will Diggs likely earning extra attention this weekend, I hope he gives him chances to make big plays. Check out his rookie highlight tape. You’ll see a top of top-notch grabs. This is still the same guy who ripped off 4 TDs and over 200 plus yards against the chiefs last year. If they allow him to get running, and create separation with his speed/stride, I like him for a big week. -

2021 December Roster vs 2022 December Roster
EmotionallyUnstable replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I appreciate this attempt. I am not so sure each review is the same as I would think about it. For example, you score the offensive line as being a slight upgrade because of RG. This does not take into account the mediocrity consistency can bring with it. For example, Spencer Brown’s return to the line-up….consistency is not always a good thing. Improvement in these areas is always the goal. I could go into detail about the obvious lack of assets and attention certain positions receiving compared to others, but we all know what they are. Instead, I think the bigger picture is that this year is still VERY real. We are a different team this season, and will take a different path to get to the promised land. The pieces we’ve added and lost will factor in, as it will with other teams too. If we are lucky enough to get the Chiefs again in the playoffs, we won’t sit here all week talking about how they are worse because they don’t have Tyrek Hill, or Hiney Badger. We’ll instead be taking about what they do have and how we match up and what can be done to stifle their team. I will forever remain salty over 13 seconds. However it will fade into the distance with success this year and we won’t have to hear about it from grumpy fans or sarcastic color analysts every time someone gets the ball at the end of half/game. -

Good point, although don’t they usually go “full” on Friday in these circumstances? -
My mom makes a habit of inviting community/church members to her house on Thanksgiving. Usually it’s the widowed elderly, a single adult or a new couple to the area. A few years back she invited a woman whom we had known well for years. She planned to come, as she did in a few years past. She never showed up. My mom called over to see if we should wait or go ahead and eat. Her sister picked up the phone. Turns out the poor lady died that morning. We didn’t hear the phone conversation, but you could see my moms face turn white with surprise and shock. As she hung up the phone, my uncle broke the silence by stating, “well, pass the mashed potatoes, I guess”

I’m kind of Over the Hines Experiment
EmotionallyUnstable replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve acknowledged the bolded numerous times. My gripe is with the offensive role. The larger issue is that we are grasping at straws to try and surround the offense with talent to get us to the promised land. My desire to find an impactful player on offense has everything to do with those expectations. I’ve adjusted them. Hence, I’m over it! And yes, my patience is limited. There are only so many “get-right” opportunities left this year. As I meantioned in my OP, I think it’s entirely plausible his role on offense could/should be shelved and revisited next year. FWIW, I am not on the OBJ fanboy bandwagon. -
9-2 and we’re winning? Is Ashton Kutcher hiding somewhere ready to pop out and tell us we’re being Punk’d?

Dawkins Limited return is honestly an encouraging sign. Tomorrow will loom large. I imagine today was “test it out” and if he is limited tmrw, it is a good sign. A DNP would only certainly indicate he won’t play. As I predicted, a return Sunday would be 17 days from the injury, or just short of the 3 weeks mentioned in his recovery timeline. -
