Before today’s games no one was really thinking about the Bills being the 2 seed. Now it is very realistically within our grasp. To only need 3 things to happen to achieve this. (Win both our games, have Balt beat Miami). I would hope this would be every fan’s goal and thought process from today on. No reason to be thinking about resting players or worrying about next years opponents. I’m shocked everyone doesn’t realize this yet and start focusing on how getting the 2 seed now is quite attainable.

I’m pretty sure this is not accurate. A few other games would have to have certain outcomes for this to be realistic. As far as I know.

Purdy is nowhere in the conversation with Allen, Mahomes etc but considering Purdy’s draft position I’d say he’s had an amazing career so far, system QB or not. I’ve seen far more heralded QB waste careers and not accomplish what he is currently doing. He had an awful game tonight no doubt. No player should be judged based on one game. Plenty of social media morons countrywide judge Allen like that all the time after he has a bad game. For a 7th rounder, Purdy has done pretty damn well in two years.

That can be said about any team this year. There is no juggernaut in the league. Once the playoffs start there will be at least 7-8 teams that conceivably could win it all. Not sure I ever remember a season where that could be said once the playoffs start. Usually there are at least 2 or 3 teams that stand far above others. Each conference has 3-4 teams that could win it all if they get hot.

Impressive win by the Ravens on the road. They won’t be an easy out in the playoffs.

Purdy looking every bit of a seventh rounder tonight. He picked a bad night to have his worst game as a pro.

Seems like Eagles and Chiefs play 14 home games a year at least.

I think if the 49ers handle Baltimore tomorrow and Purdy has another great game, he will solidify himself as MVP. The Lamar talk will be completely over. If the Ravens handle the 49ers and it’s Lamar who has the great game, I think he will pass Purdy. Generally QB of the team with the best record in the league will get lots and lots of MVP votes. So winner of this game will have a lot to do with final MVP voting I’d imagine.

The Chargers played about as well as they could today considering their available personnel. I wasn’t surprised. What did surprise me was how badly the Bills played today, considering their personnel. Bills were lucky to escape today considering all their mistakes.

lol apparently you’ve never seen the weekly predict the score threads here. The vast vast majority of the picks have the Bills routinely winning by 40 or so points. This week people were especially optimistic of the 40 point victory with the Chargers assuredly going to roll over for us. I’d say by the predictions and your quoted assertion, that a lot of people on here definitely don’t watch football.

Actually the majority of people on the forum were convinced the Chargers would roll over and Bills would win by 20-50 points. I most certainly was not one of them. Knew the Chargers wouldn’t roll over. Also didn’t expect the Bills to try so hard to give the game away.
