Only some of us knew they were resting starters. There are hundreds of posts about it starting a week ago where people here insisted the Ravens wouldn’t rest their starters. It was hilarious a week ago and even more today with all the crying from people that the Ravens actually did indeed rest starters today. Ravens earned the right to do what they did today. We will see how it impacts them in two weeks. Posters here years ago routinely wanted the Bills to rest starters in meaningless season ending game. But yet today it’s the worst thing some have ever seen.

Pittsburgh has beaten Baltimore now I believe it’s 7 of their last 8 meetings. Jackson played in most if not all of those.

A few years ago when we were playing for the 2 seed, tons of posters here were screaming for the Bills to rest all their starters cause it made NO difference whether we ended up the 2 seed or 3 seed.

Actually Pickett got hurt so they went to Trubisky for weeks, who stunk and then they went to Rudolph. So let’s not give Tomlin too much credit here.

I think it’s safe to say WR and safety will BOTH be selected within our first three picks this draft. But WR generally would seem to be the choice to go with in the first. A lot will depend where we end up drafting. To get one of the top WRs we may need to trade up a bit to get in the top 15-20 at minimum. Especially if we end up with a draft position of 25-32.

Yep. Glad someone else noticed that as well. All those 2 seed stats from 1975 onward don’t mean a thing when the vast majority of those years the 2 seed got a bye. Only the stats from the last few years when they changed the seeding 1-7 would really matter and there isn’t much of a sample size to gain anything from in reality.

Titans had big wins with Levis not Tannehill. He is a statue back there for the Jags D to feast on. Not counting on any help from Titans.

Tannehill will be the QB. He is beyond washed. Not sure the Titans won more than one game with him as starter this year. Their next games were with Levis as starter. I’d place zero hopes on the Titans doing anything.

Yeah you would definitely think Baltimore would rather have the Steelers in the playoffs instead of us. But obviously the Ravens players will be trying their hardest to win. The biggest clue to the Ravens completely tanking next weeks game is if Huntley doesn’t play QB and they go with their third stringer. Then it will become obvious what they’re trying to do.
