Kelce will be wide open until the day he retires. Forget stopping him, I’d be thrilled to contain or slow him. We don’t have a good history of that. Maybe next week will be different if we make it. I won’t hold my breath on containing him next week either.

Chargers would have made this more interesting today.

He is. But he makes a lot of big plays for them too. But he certainly has an attitude.

As much as I dislike the Chargers, they most likely would have given the Chiefs a tougher game than Jax did today.

Tell me right now that we will score at least 30 AND win the turnover battle, then I believe it’s about 90% chance the Bills will win. Without those two things happening Sunday, I’d say it’s 50/50 at best.

Exactly. On Scott Van Pelt Sunday night on ESPN they did the Bengals highlights and afterwards said “there is no such thing as an ugly playoff win”. They immediately go to the Bills/Miami highlights and afterwards spent two solid minutes criticizing the Bills win, how it was ugly and they were fortunate and how they can’t win like that going forward. It’s been a narrative for days now that Buffalo struggled to win and Bengals handled business. Ridiculous. Neither team looked great on Sunday but both won.

Agreed. I actually think the Bills didn’t show a lot today because they are hiding things for Cincy and KC. It almost came back to bite them today though. I think Beasley is going to be a much bigger part of the offensive game plan next week vs Cincy.

Today, Josh almost never had a clean pocket. When he has his feet set, his throws are rarely off. When he has to dance around and worry in the pocket obviously that leads to bad passes. I know the Bills have numerous holes for next year but I think if they could vastly improve the O line, we would see Josh’s and the offense’s success rate rise greatly. Even the receivers would seem more effective with better protection for Josh as he would deliver more accurate passes consistently.

They should. Every year from now on the Monday night winner will be at a disadvantage for the divisional round. I hope we never see that Monday night game. But at some point we probably will.

The winner of that game was always going to have a short week no matter what. Saturday wasn’t an option, so they gave them the Sunday game next week. Best they could get.
