  1. Now that the schedule is out, what away games are you planning on/looking forward to going to?
  2. Good points all around. Yes, he's had 2nd and 3rd chances. But, the other issues were known around football/sports circles. This one is one that everybody all around the nation will be watching, and you know Marrone won't put up with any of that.
  3. I don't care about bad PR anymore. Because you know what is good PR, the only PR that matters, is that we're getting TV coverage in January.
  4. I'd have to find out what teams voted against the move, and root only for those teams. But not with passion. Mostly for just cynicism towards the other teams.
  5. I hated that too, but it was put there just to let people know that he is definitely not biased. The media, and the national perspective would make it seem that way. Hell, if they moved the team to NYC (not that they would, but hypothetically), they would make it out to be "Well they're still in the same state." Now with Toronto being an hour or two away, the PR people in the NFL will make it out the same way nationally to make it seem like we the fans are whining about nothing.
  6. I was talking about the "Bills Mafia" in general, not the song.
  7. With my experienceat the Ralph, I assumed all stadiums were the same. A bunch of belligerent drunks. Fist fights. Harrassment of the other teams fans. But once I started traveling to other stadiums, that isn't the case at all. In Houston they were indifferent to me. In New Orleans, they were down right friendly. Plus they're cocky. Cocky about a team that, as much as I love them, isn't any good.
  8. Some, not all, of the "Bills Mafia" give the fanbase a bad name.
  9. The Bills already have an anthem. It's called "Shout."
  10. Don't forget Peter Frampon with the overuse of the talkbox. Except Peter Frampton's use was kind of cool.
  11. NFL Network re-aired the Comeback in it's entrity about a year ago, and I watch that once in a while. I don't live in Buffalo anymore, so I watch the game at the bar. The rare occasion that it is on TV, I still go to the bar, but record it anyway. Those are usually the games we lose though. If I go to a game I record it, because there are things that you miss when not there.
  12. I'll have my own silent protest and watch my DVD copy of the critically acclaimed, cinematic classic, Second String.
  13. I like the idea, but not the Giants. If we're trying to expand our market, We don't want to play a team that already has a base in Syracuse, then it'll just be Giants fans coming out.
  14. Can someone explain to me what a QB selected ten years ago, has anything to do with a LB this year? Besides the fact that he'll be gone by 9, is it like the small school thing? Because I'm pretty sure that The Buffalo Bills are aware of the biggest player to ever come out of the University of Buffalo. I'm really confused here. +1
  15. What? So we only have two hours to prepare for the game? Unfair scheduling. This is a conspiracy. Someone call Glenn Beck.
  16. Isn't it our turn to be home team on Thursday night? Or would they make an exception for Thanksgiving?
  17. He can still fly back and forth to games. Plus he may live in Florida, but he still does buisness in Buffalo, and may own a suite that he doesn't even use himself and gives away. Ralph never lived in Buffalo his whole life. Could we make it something like, First Niagara (or whatever sponsor) Field at Ralph Wilson Stadium?
  18. Also, if we're going with the past, I could watch Earl Campell highlights all day.
  19. Payton Manning: Seems like a fun guy to be around, and has a genuine passion for the game. Case Keenum: Good guy. I'm also bias being a University of Houston fan. JJ Watt: Still regret not taking him. A beast on the field, and an angel off. A more interesting topic, are there any former Bills that you still like/root for?
  20. The tone is what bothered me. It felt like he was celebrating Ralph's death as it being one step closer.
  21. (416) 814-2749 is the number for the Sports director at the paper. Blow his phone/voicemail up.
  22. I was steaming mad when I read the article. I actually called the sports editor of the paper. A few things that bothered me. That's just factually untrue. There's debate over why they chose to name it after him, but he didn't choose it. This translates to "Now that this old bastard kicked the bucket, we can finally get s**t done around here.
  23. My parents went to a party to watch the game. I watched it by myself in my bedroom because my babysitter didn't watch football.
  24. Why do the Giants now have our helmet?
