What is Happening To New England's WRs? Warning Stats
Dean Cain replied to Dean Cain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ah yes. The harbinger of the apocalypse...Ej Manuel. Don't let his silver chained crucifix fool you, he's death personified. I mean since EJ's come to NFL Adrian Peterson & Ray Rice have happened. Tom Brady is in decline, Peyton Manning lost a super bowl 43-8. -
OP, you finish the post by saying both Doug's are on the hook. What record do you think they need to preserve their jobs?
-
Stevie was the first Bills player to really connect with average fans. Still hated his drops but he never didn't give maximum effort.
-
Nice throw, had a collapsed pocket threw the ball 4 yards deep to the 46 yard line or so. That's a nice 50 yard air throw on the outside of the numbers, perfection. I'm a big fan of EJ as y'all know and I'd like to see him hit a few of these Sunday like Losman to Lee Evans in Houston.

All 32 NFL teams graded on their five-year potential
Dean Cain replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Projecting what will happen in the AFC East from 2015-2019 should be exciting for Bills fans. Belichick is 63 now and won't coach forever. Brady is 37 now and won't play forever either. But assuming Belichick stays on for the transition, I assume that occurs after the 2015 season. Tom Brady has really struggled with his deep ball accuracy and evidence of his demise seems legit. Even a recent article in the Boston Herald cited how Brady doesn't evade the pass rush like he once did. The real projections are looking at the current QBs and determining how they'll develop. The Jets don't have much upside with Geno Smith. But the Jets chances of drafting a franchise QB seem slim as long as Rex Ryan is coach, sporting a top 5 defense that can win 7-9 games per year. The Dolphins seem to be on the outs with Tannehill and rightly so. I assume they'll tank this year, fire Philbin and draft a "franchise" QB paired with the next hyped college football coach. Last Pegula. Having a long-term future of the franchise stabilized will allow Bills fans, and the Bills organization to focus on building the team to be competitive season after season. Much like Robert Kraft did in New England, I see Pegula as the type of owner who will use his business acumen to build a winning organization. I think Pegula would be wise to evaluate the Bills FO & coaching staff for 2014, and possibly 2015. Rather than having a win now mode, I see Pegula as the kind of guy who will want to build a young team that can compete for the long-haul rather than grabbing a veteran franchise QB. -

Alex Smith over Kaepernick? -
OP, are you anti-Spiller? What's your take. Should he be traded?

Quarterback Air Yards: * be warned *

Racist stats. -
Chandler likely ran an improvised route as the play was busted when Woods was taken away. EJ also appeared to have the ability to run on the play and slide for a few yards.
-
What some idiots on TBD would call "awful" I would call a learning experience. There are nuansances to playing the postion. I'm sure Chandler liked EJ hitting him on the scramble, dump & go. So it's not as bad as the hypochondriacs like you would like to believe. Any receiver will get in his QBs face and tell him this. I'd like to see EJ learn from this and hit Chandler if it is defended similarly in the future.

Angst in New England - Love It
Dean Cain replied to Stormin Norman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Belichick overestimated Tommy Boy. It appears at 37 Brady who was skin & bones at the 2000 combine has maxed his talent & his skill set is eroding right before the hoodies eyes. Brady won a SB with a journeyman as his primary target, Troy Brown. Brady has better weapons now with Edelman, Gronk, Amendola, Moore, Thompkins & Dobson. Vereen is equal to Antowan Smith & a better pass catcher. The other RBs are dangerous. Where the dropoff has occurred is in Brady's ability. -

The Jets are scary coz they refuse to be run on. Wilkerson went down yesterday maybe he'll be banged up when we play. The team with the best depth will win the AFC East. -
Week 4: Texans' Game Preparation
Dean Cain replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz has plenty if weapons at his disposal. We know Fitz can throw up some deep passes, and ducks. Fitz has weaknesses namely beating coverage. The blue print in stopping the Texans is taking the ball away from Foster & making Fitz beat you. -

Read this article & had a smile. No matter what we do it seems As though Tommy boy has hit Father Time. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2014/09/21/patriots-offense-has-too-many-holes-for-tom-brady-smooth-over/O65ApdzgAsT8eOaulN9VDL/story.html -

Run D 6th in NFL after 3rd game, appears vastly improved

Had we managed to take out Forte we probably don't need to win that in OT. -

How many passes did EJ throw in the first 3 QTrs? -
Try injuryphobics. But do explain how much better Cousins is over RG3, which judging by record & stats is hard to prove.

No mention of MIA getting licked by KC
Dean Cain replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't Zona beat SD who then beat Seattle? It's too early to tell due to injuries & how teams improve but I'm happy with where we are at. New England looks beatable. Miami we've stomped. And the Jets look tough at running & stopping the run. IMO the Jets have looked the best. -
You can't handle the fact that we are 2-1 & your QB likely Brady is aging like a 1995 Ford Taurus.

"Should Orton start next week?" thread locked ... why?
Dean Cain replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Orton is a joke. If he is some kind of savior wouldn't he still be in Chicago, Denver, KC or Dallas. As the often unguided Jerry Sullivan pointed out he is a virtual clone of Fitzpatrick in nearly every statistical category, including age.
