I have seriously read how 15 different teams want him. I don’t think he will be there at 30, or maybe even 20.

We are not used to these types of shenanigans! The bills do a great job of signing their own at very good rates. We just need to be prepared for him to hold out for a while, but he will have to report and play before the season starts, otherwise he loses all his leverage.

I am a Christian and think Easter is great for that reason. but I agree with you about the eggs and the baskets and the ham. When I was a kid, my parents just gave me a few candy bars and that seemed fine. I am not sure why I have to hide all these plastic eggs for my kids. I feel like they would be fine if I just handed them a bag of gummy nerds. Re ham, my in-laws always say things like, “oh, this is a really good ham.” Is there really “good” or “bad” ham? I have pretty discriminating food tastes usually, but ham seems like ham, to me. It’s all pretty meh.

I don’t disagree with you. As I recall from the back and forth on this, my point in posting this was related to the prior discussion re her not checking in frequently with her dad. Not trying to tear her down; more of an explanation that maybe she had her own stuff she was dealing with.

Agree. I think Carr is a real high character guy, and I like him for that. But he seems way too inconsistent or even washed. He’s not going to get anyone to the playoffs.

They should have never let him go. He is a perfect fit for that offense. Play action and bombs.

Grew up in WNY and it was huge in high school. But never played it after moving out of the area. my nephews are in college in the Midwest, and I guess they play all the time in the dorms.

Baseball. I was a pretty terrible little leaguer. I could never really judge a fly ball, was always afraid of getting hit while at bat, developed chuck knoblock throwing errors when playing 2nd base, and at best hit a single to right here and there. that said, playing little league was also probably one of the most important developmental experiences of my life. Taught me that there are some things in life that I am definitely going to be bad at, but I still need to work hard and have a positive attitude and deal with it.

Here’s some free golf advice. i have noticed the main problem former baseball players have with playing golf is they grip the golf club too tightly, and they swing with too much tension in their forearms arms. Relax those arms and your grip, and I bet you the slicing works its way out.

Probably one of my favorite bills is McGee! I feel like I watch highlights of him still every month or so.

I am not a huge hockey guy, though my favorite player is Crosby. I will say that it is weird how Ovi, for all the goals, has so few assists. It’s a real statistical anomaly, given how often the puck is on his stick.

i felt the same. I knew Clayton would make some big shots at the end, and he did. Had that big 3, and two “and one’s” down the stretch. the thing that annoyed me though about Houston was their second half offensive sets. Those high ball screens and handoffs way out by half court were a total mess. They got away from what worked— just spread the floor and get it inside to your Bigs. Also, 21 on Houston (sharp) was a total train wreck all game. Then he made two colossal errors at the end. Tried too hard on an off night and played hero ball.
