Agree. I was always a draft/develop guy. What’s the point? Our hit rate on 1st and 2nd round picks is low. For every James cook, there is a boogie basham, AJE, Cody ford, Elam, etc. I would seriously just trade our 1st round pick for Devin Lloyd, who is on an expiring contract and would probably be a 1-year rental.

Not only should Mahomes been flagged. But his taunting was bad form. Yeah, other guys talk trash out there. But flexing on a guy specifically like Branch wasn’t the kind of trash talk that is done in good fun. That’s why Branch wasn’t in the mood to shake his hand. You don’t see that with Josh, when all these guys who were trash talking during the game are laughing after the game. it’s also why Mahomes’s post-game outburst re the Toney penalty a few years back showed his true colors. Dude is a sore loser, and a phony.

This is just bush league, but expected. These guys play dirty and then try to shake hands after the game? I love what branch did. Thankfully he isn’t on the Bills— but all of America can thank him!

Listening to some previews. I didn’t realize that the falcons pass D was so good. We may be better off with a ball control, heavy set, and lots of running.

Can someone explain to me that worthy celebration where he flails his arm forward? Is that some kind of dance move now? All the KC receivers seem to do it now.

on that last lions incomplete pass, I saw a lions receiver on a crosser getting absolutely mugged.

what I am tired of is that on some key 4th down, it is always a chiefs jail break. How can they generate that kind of pressure?

This game has that KC Magic Mahomes feel. I am not sure I want to stick around to watch it.

Agreed. I always thought that it was a penalty only if you put your hands under the center to take the snap.
