  1. Thank goodness society is rid of this idiot before he killed any innocent people.
  2. Bills fans vastly overrate the 2004 Pittsburgh game as one of the worst losses in franchise history. Everyone talks about that game like they were playing UB. The Steelers were a very deep and talented team who happened to have young backups like Willie Parker, Ike Taylor and James Harrison, who became mainstays for the Steelers the following year. Hardly 'scrubs' as they've been described here over the years. Even sitting whoever they sat that day, Pittsburgh was still a better team. Jacksonville was the infuriating game from that season.
  3. He needs to rewatch that Chris Rock bit about marriage and blowjobs. And....here it is: NSFW
  4. The combination of angry Warriors fans and Pride Week brought them out of the woodwork last week. And I saw my first sidewalk poo yesterday!
  5. Haven't seen much of NG, Pete or James lately....just sayin'.
  6. This one. And not just because I saw it coming a mile away (that's easy with the Bills). It's because Jauron, the same guy who never met a FG opportunity he wouldn't take, choose to have his rookie QB throw into the end zone (and picked, naturally) late in the 4th quarter with a 8 point lead when an 11 point lead at that stage would have almost clinched the game.
  7. Meh...looks like her contact average was lacking. Mets have enough guys who just swing for the fences. #OfficialMetsLovefestthread2016
  8. If that's Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards, didn't he say "chewed out"? The last 10 minutes of that movie with him and Chris Waltz going back and forth was just one classic line after another.
  9. I'm confused. Why was it a 'difficult, disappointing day'? A guilty man was convicted, doesn't that make it a good day? Isn't it more difficult and disappointing when privileged criminals avoid prosecution completely....and then get nominated for the Presidency?
  10. So instead almost all airlines cater to the small % who do prioritize service over price by offering first class and priority status for security & boarding.
  11. I think monster year in terms of yards and TDs will be necessary to be in the playoffs. I think a year like he had last year will end up with a record about like we had last year. I think without him and relying on just the other guys, we'll be even worse than last year even with an improved defense.
  12. This thread reminds me of Charles Grodin advising Robert DeNiro against opening a restaurant in Midnight Run.
  13. How can you be married and ask that? I kid... I kid... At least this will be the end of any 'let's sign TJ to mentor TT/because he fits the offense/because we never gave him a fair shake/etc.'
  14. I think he's an excellent motivator and probably a very good recruiter, which is key in college ball even more than Xs and Os. And he did get within 5 yards of a SB title. Trust me, I won't be rooting for him!
  15. It wasn't a big year, but Shady was still the main guy last year in terms of carries which is important. And he remains a dynamic player that defenses must account for. Despite his fast start in 2015, I'm not sold on Karlos yet. I'm concerned about his durability and much like with Spiller, I don't see him maintaining his gaudy ypc as a feature back getting 200+ carries if Shady were to go down. The other guys are completely unproven.
  16. It could be this year, I'm saying one of the next 3. Michigan was losing to I-AA teams a few years ago so if you're already putting them in the mix with OSU and MSU as the only legit teams in the Big10, I'd say that shows Harbaugh's impact already.
  17. Marvin Miller met Curt Flood and not Jim Brown. Now football owners are too smart a group to let it happen. But I agree, you can't expect one without the other. Players have to earn their money in the NFL and so when they have the leverage like Von Miller they will use it.
  18. I assume he meant his last year as a Bill. I could see him being a potential cap casualty after this season. But make no mistake, this offense goes nowhere without a big year from Shady.
  19. I like Rex Ryan and I'm glad he's our coach. Are you serious? Did you notice how bad Michigan has been for 10+ years? I'm an ND fan so no love for Harbaugh and Michigan but he has already made huge strides there. They will win the Big 10 in the next 3 years.
  20. But that's the bulk of the revenue, right? Plus what, $50M from stadium receipts? Less: $150M for players + staff + facilities + travel. Certainly a profit, but probably not a spectacular ROI on a $1.3B investment.
  21. I'm still a Yankee at heart (for now) but have to admit, there's a certain zen commuting to work on a ferry rather than a Metro-North train -- among many other differences. Came out for the J.O.B. and to hopefully give our girls a little broader experience than that of our native Puritan lands.
  22. Threads like this are the lifeblood of the offseason.
  23. Wow, I might need to rebook my late July flight. Right now I'm going out to BOS on Virgin and back on Jet Blue. About to board in SF....got upgraded.
