I agree. I think TD is doing a great job, and I feel comfortable sitting back and watching this offseason wheeling and dealing unfold. There are never any guarantees, and it's silly to harp on the guys that don't pan out, especially in the draft. TD is smart and aggressive when he needs to be. I can't wait to see what's next!!!!

I don't remembering him doing PAT's or field goals, but he definitely did kickoffs, and did them unbelievably well.

I saw him kick quite a bit in college at Iowa. Kinnick Stadium would just go nuts when he would send his kickoffs through the uprights....It happened A LOT. Always seemed like a classy guy, and it sounds like he really gave a lot back to the community. (He worked with teens in the tough parts of Nashville). Sad story today...

Oh, and my Odyssey was made in Alabama if you want American made...

I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey and absolutly love it. It is so comforatable to drive and they really put a lot of thought into the design. You have to pay a bit more, but the reliability and resale value is unmatched. Go test drive several makes, read the Consumer Report, and then decide. You will be happy you did the research...

Yeah, from Ohio, Iowa got Trey Stoss, Chris Rowell, and BJ Travers, all 3 and 4 star recruits. But the real haul was from Illinois, with Tony Moeki, Dace Richardson, Dan Doering, all five-stars, and Jack Christiansen, Ryan Bain- 4 stars and Calloway, three stars. With the Illini going through a coaching change and Northwestern down, it was smart to go after the Chicago area recruits... It sounds like they have a few more Illinois kids lined up for next year. Go Hawks!

Iowa had its first ever top-10 recruiting class. Given what they have done the last few years (share of Big Ten titles two of the last three years, top ten national rankings in each of the last three), Hawkeye Nation is excited to see what coach Ferentz can do with all this talent! We are heading to Glacier Nat'l Park in June for a family vacation, then heading to Idaho for a rafting trip. Can't wait to get out there... Any tips on Glacier? Must see, etc. We are staying in St. Mary for a couple of days. Coming in an out of Missoula. (We have friends in Missoula)

I had my daughter on January 12, 1991, then the Gulf War started, and to top it off, the Bills made it to the Super Bowl. I was in a fog and felt like I was dreaming the whole month of January. It was so surreal that I had this little person to take care of and then to be home with her, watching all the war stuff on CNN, it seemed so strange. Then my beloved Bills go and play their hearts out to make it to the Super Bowl...Was it a dream?

I thought Michigan played well. That Vince Young is just unbelieveable. Was he like this all year? If so, he should have been mentioned for the Heisman. He is incredible...

As a Hawkeye fan, I have to say I thought we blew it with the clock running down and us failing to call a time out. Then...Drew Tate pulls out what I am calling another "Flutie Play" out of nowhere and throws the ball to a guy who had never scored a touchdown in his college career. (Holloway's a fifth year senior!) I was screaming "Oh my God!" over and over I just couldn't believe it. I just hope some NFL team doesn't take Kirk Ferentz from us...

Quinn Early was a good athlete, running track as well as playing football at Iowa. I believe he still holds the long jump record at Iowa.

You're right, he's not that big, but I feel you need to find a place for a guy with that kind of passion on your team. Not sure where they are projecting him to go in the draft...

Keep an eye on Matt Roth in Iowa's game against Wisconsin. This guy is an animal and causes havoc in the backfield.

What a weird game....Both offenses were pretty pathetic, although you have to credit the defenses. Last week, Drew Tate just shredded the Ohio State defense but this week had lots of trouble with PSU's unit. Big emotional win for Kirk Ferentz, whose dad passed away this week. This Hawkeye grad is happy to get away from that game with a win...
