I don't listen....When I did -- they tried too hard to be contra and they gave folks like Mike Florio 20 minutes of air time. I didn't mind the coach or Peter King or John Clayton---but Mike Florio??? Just play commercials... Also, is their format really sports or rant and vent? Its rant and vent...There's more sports talk on the off topic board on TBD than there is on GR....

Last night I trashed Brad Riter and WGR in this very forum...calling the station a cesspool--While I still feel the same-- I have to admit--this is outstanding piece of work and reflects how I feel. Nice job Paul.....

Never was--TD never had a bio up on the site..nor in the media guide. It was his way of convincing himself that he was not a self absorbed, egomanic...

Mort is the best in the business...but I am alarmed at a 31-49 W/L record in the Donahoe era. Even given 2 years to clean up the salary cap mess (so removing 11-21)--we are 20-28 in the three years hence. Two of the last three years have been almost alarming disappointments. So Mort--I am already alarmed....I am alarmed that we will not do enough today to change the culture of losing that TD and team have created...I am alarmed we are headed into the abyss as a franchise...the last time we were in this situation Marv Levy was one aspect of the answer--we need more than just Marv Levy today.

I am happy Marv is back and mean no disrespect...but I don't think that his presence alone is enough to turn around this mess. I will wait to see what the other changes are--but I just can't envision this team being much better with MM as head coach...even with Marv running the football show....I hope there is more to this or I hope I am wrong..(which I am pretty often)...

I love Marv Levy (who mysteriously is now 77 down from previous reports from 80--at this rate he will be 45 by 2:30 PM)--but this team was: 1) Out of shape 2) Poorly schemed 3) Little heart 4) Undisciplined 5) Divided All things the head coach should impact.... A Marv Levy bandaid on a bleeding artery is not enough for me... A coach willing to keep his job by purging assistants isn't going to be able to attract top level assistants. Nor I fear are we going to be able to attract many free agents. Marv's star power is aged. It sucks that we may have to suffer through a lame duck year with Mularkey and make little or no progress in 06.....I would rather start over now....just my rant for a Wednesday morning...

Brad--you give him time on the air--don't you think that gives him more credibility than he deserves. He's some idiot who surfs the web all day and posts crap, yet you gave him the same amount of air time you gave Clayton and King last week. Get real....how idiotic is it to report something unconfirmed, heard second hand from Mularkey's pilot. Get a real station....No competition has killed you guys. You guys are the WWE of sports radio... Last thing--Donahoe may have been wrong on a lot of things--but the one thing he had pegged is when he told the caller to his show--that if the caller wanted to act like a jerk to call the other (meaning your) station. Your station is a cesspool -- be very proud....

Wait--critical update...unconfirmed report...Mularkey had to call On-Star on the way home from the airport (Thought he heard a engine knock in the Vette)....The On-Star operator called John Murphy and said Mularkey will be fired... Can I work for WGR now... Keep in mind this is the same station that promotes Mike Florio of profootballtalk.com as an expert guest...
