  1. Having watched the replay in its various forms SO many times, I remember a lot of the sideline player chatter from The Comeback. Darryl Talley - "We can overcome, baby. We can overcome this one." Jeff Wright - "Fandamonia (sic), all over!" Carwell Gardner pointing to the decal on his helmet yelling "It's ours! BILLS!" Mark Maddox - "They don't want it, baby, they don't want it!" Jim Kelly fixing Andre Reed's jersey - "Still gotta get one more" Henry Jones - "Greatest comeback in playoff history" Mike Lodish trying to correct everyone - "We haven't won yet"
  2. How have we gotten this far without mention that former longsnapper Jon Dorenbos was also a magician?

  4. I think you misspelled Iconic. 73 was the last season for the iconic uni: In 74 we went to the charging buffalo but still had the old school stripe pattern for the sleeves (which I love BTW) In 75, they went to the Cowboys double-stripe
  5. It's been done, for 1 game in '94 against the Broncos. Hideous.
  6. I got 6. Logged in at 10:40, no wait, no issues at all. At least some will become available once my season ticket partners let me know if they're interested

  9. His performance as Chief in the Steve Carrell version of Get Smart is understated and hilarious
  10. As a whole, winning 4 straight AFC championships was epically good. BUT individually Losing SBXXV was bad, stubbornly sticking with what our offense had always done against a defense that they hadn't seen and was working against it. And losing SBXXVIII was bad because we basically gave up at the first sign of adversity even though we owned the first half.
  11. Wow, I'm happy to see that they took my feedback to heart, based on what was said here at least. I was in one of those focus groups they mentioned. My key points to them (at least around gameday experience) were: View. First and foremost, I'm there to see the game. Make sure the sightlines are there. Bathrooms. Not everyone needs food or drink in the stadium, but almost all of us will need to use a bathroom at some point. Make sure we can get from our seat to a bathroom, and that it's big enough to handle everyone so that we don't have 15 minute waits and lines clogging the concourses. Not having to pee in a sink is a plus, but not required. Cell coverage and wi-fi. Gotta be able to communicate with the outside world from inside the stadium. Sound. I'd love to be able to clearly hear announcements Traffic. Need to get away from the stadium in less than an hour.

  20. You know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding.

  22. Based on some deductive reasoning, I now think it's staged. - home night game - all blues - no gloves on any fan so early season based on those, it would have to be from the Titans or Packers game. A highlight review of both games doesn't show JA doing a crowd jump in either game. Also, although there's a hand covering most of the area (intentionally?) it looks like the jersey he's wearing doesn't have the captain's patch.
