  1. If Taylor dosent pass for 300 yrds today, im done with him!
  2. The '88 49's went to the superbowl and won after a 10-6 record. So did the 2011 Packers. The 2010 Giants won the superbowl with a 9-7 record, so it sure is possible if we get real hot today, win out and go into the playoffs rolling. I say keep um all if it happens.
  3. "Honey, the car's leaking oil again, can you go check it out, im gonna watch the game" 😂
  4. Having a QB thats a runner is like having a wife thats a car mechanic. Yeah, she can fix your brakes but do you really want to let her, let alone tell your friends she did them?
  5. Bein picked where he was, and with the situation here in Buffalo, the way its gone down, im just interested to see what the rest of his career holds. I saw some talent in him, i saw some potential. Maybe its career back up for him, maybe he gets in some games and produces. I dont know. I think Marrone shafted him, and Rex never wanted anything to do with him. And i dont trust their QB evaulations any more than i trust yours.
  6. This thread is creepin me out, dont give Kim any ideas.
  7. Tyrod can earn back alot of respect if he looks like a passer and wins out, in my eyes. Give us something to build on and get enthusiastic about next season.
  8. In all reality, we all know they arent gonna bring EJ back. This team dosent value him one bit. And its INSANE to think they will let them both hit free agency. I just cant see Whaley letting the first and second string QB's go. That would be nuts. So who knows what they will do. They will probably pick up the option on Tyrod and let lowly Manuel go.
  9. My thing is, is i see him as a pocket passer with a big arm, accuracy issues, yes. But with all the people falling all over themselves making excuses for Tyrod, at the same time crucifying EJ, just makes no sense to me. Again, if he dosent get picked up in the offseason, ill be the first to label him one of the all time great Bills busts.
  10. So it seems like concensus is that EJ is one of the great Bills busts of all times. Ifhedosent get picked up in the offseason, im fully willing to accept that. But after 14 games hes played under two horrible coaching staffs im not ready to accept it yet. CFL... 😂 good one,old school!
  11. You dont get to be a first round NFL quarterback without a deep rooted competitive nature. EJ wants out of Buffalo, a fresh start, and somewhere he can compete. Im certain he will get a chance, a chance to compete. I can not for the life of me, see Elway make a lateral move from Siemian, and pay Tyrod starting QB money. Not with Lynch waiting in the wings. Elway would wanna rip his head off after four games. Maybe Jacksonville would give Tyrod the starting job, im looking at the teams wondering who would pick up Tyrod as their starter. Im not seeing that many teams.
  12. But we do not! Because the FO has no vision! The FO consisting of Whaley and.... Brandino....
  13. The same can be said for Tyrod. Jets, San Fran, Bears, Denver. Although i wouldnt be surprised to see Elway go for a passer like EJ before they go for a running QB like Tyrod.
  14. Ill change my screen name to "The Ghost of EJ Manuel" If I win, you have to change it to "EJ's baby"
  15. Well, hes better than splitting reps with Cardale on the practice squad, ill say that. He must hate this dysfuncion junction so much. I cant say i blame him with the way hes been handled.
  16. So, say we dont pick up the option on Tyrod, and EJ is cut, like most of us presume he will be. Who gets signed first? To me it is not a foregone conclusion that Tyrod is so much better, i see significant interest in EJ. I think if they both hit free agency, i think EJ gets picked up first. Flame away...
  17. That 2014 defense was so damn good. Nobody scored more than one TD on them, opponents were lucky to get a TD and a field goal on them. And they stayed healthy all year, too. Was brutal to play against. Man, those were the days.
  18. I thought about that, but with Tyrods deficency as a passer, i just dont see him as an Elway kinda guy
  19. After our first game against the Jets and Fins, and our games against Bengals and Jax, im not callin any of our games easy
  20. Man, im not chalking up any divisional games as wins for us right now. You know what im saying, you know football well enough to realize that. Im not saying i think we will lose to the jets, we need that win for our triumphant march to 8-8. But dont pretend for a second that its an automatic win
  21. Its undeniable that Brandon had a heavy hand in the Nix hire, the Whaley hire, the Marrone hire and the Rex Ryan hire. I think thats why Brandon falls under so much fan critism. Its as simple as that. He plays part time football descision maker almost like, from the shadows. Fans dont like that, especially cos were sitting at 8-8 for like, 50 years now
  22. The only teams i could see going after Tyrod in FA are, San Fran, Bears or the Jets? The Jets being a longshot.
  23. A team can win the superbowl wih a great running game, an adequate QB (TT) and a top 5 defense. In the Raiders game, IF the offense would have been able to score one more TD, giving us 31 pts, which we all knew we would have to score over 30 to have a chance. And, if the defense would have held the Raiders to one less TD, the game could have been a whole different story. I guess what im saying is, to my eye, McCoy is worth every penny, its TT and the defense that didnt hold up their end of the bargin.
  24. Whaley is defined by the Watkins deal. Not to mention the numerous franchise QB's that have been drafted and dealt since hes been in charge here. Y'know, the ones that are not on the Bills. Hes not that bad, but hes not that good, hes kinda like, in the middle.
