Idk, just looking for something concrete from Whaley. Ideally the GM and new coach are in unison on their football/team building philosphy. Plus, we probably need to stick with Tyrod, as the other options out there are really limited.

The only thing i want to see Whaley do is take a definitive stand on Tyrod. Does Whaley believe in him or not. Will he be back or not. No wishy washy doublespeak. Forget if a new coach wants him, does WHALEY want him. A descision has to be made, dont leave Tyrod and the fans twisting in the wind for 3 more months on it.

I guess, i dont even know what im trying to argue here. Its just frustrating seeing this team lack direction. Not knowing where were going or what next season has in store. Except gaining draft position in that loss does not bring me a warm fuzzy feeling.

When Jax fired Bradley a few weeks ago, that team came out and scored something like 38 points under Marrone. I cant see any way that pro athletes would come out deliberately trying to lose. Or not caring one bit about W/L. Yesterdays loss wasnt only on EJ anymore that the Oak and Pitts losses werent only on Tyrod. Theresno way we deliberatley tanked thatgame for draft position. The players DO NOT care about draft position. We just arent that good and probably would have lost even with Tyrod back there.

To all the people that believe yesterdays game was a deliberate attemt to imrove draft position, i have to ask. How does something like that go down? Does Whaley go into a team meeting before the game and say "take it easy on sunday guys, we dont want to win this one?" Because that seems CRAZY! What pro sports team would collectively orchestrate a deliberate loss for draft position? Or is it ALL because of EJ? Tyrods intangibles would have turned that game around? Inspired the D to play harder? Would have scored 24-30 points based on his scrambling ability? Or is it that our team just isnt that good?

Option 2: Let Taylor and Manuel walk (obviously) and tank 2017 for first overall 2018. Thats all i got. 7-8, no wins against teams above .500, 1-4 in the divison aint cuttin it though.

I dont think the Cowboys would take Taylor in a trade based on his contract, as a backup. Id love to see Whaley package Taylor in a trade somehow to move up in the draft though. Maybe try to get San Fran to bite for that 2nd overall

I go back and forth on Whaley, i can see some good, a bunch of bad. Heneeds to pull off areal serious professional Football GM move real soon, something other than the big trade for butterhands Watkins, to seperate himself from the middle of the pack. Hes pretty young in the league still and could still be a GM on the rise. I want him to succeed.
