  1. Wentz is gonna be good. Starting a rookie QB is always going to be a tough proposition. And yes, Landry is starting to turn into one of the leagues great douchbags. Landry will get his, hes putting a bullseye on his chest with this type of play The legend of Dak Prescott is going to grow strong on this day
  2. Um, a trip to the west coast, in a Monday night prime time game. Against a vicious defense. That stadium is loud and hard to win in. With Seattles offense hurting right now, and our offense the way it is, i see a really low scoring game. I do think Seattle has a knack for turning it up in the second half of the season, though. And probably look at this game as an easy win. I think Seattle scores a touchdown and a safety, i see us with one or two field goals. Its gonna be really tough for us to punch it in the endzone in this game. Seattle 9 Buffalo 6
  3. He was talking about it with Schoop and Bulldog trying to come up with a list of who the 20 guys would be
  4. Sal was saying like two weeks ago, that if we traded or cut Marcel, wed have to cut about 20 guys to make up for the salary cap hit next year. That would be fun.
  5. Well, we been focusing on defense for what, 5 years now? And im afraid were going to be focusing on defense again next year.
  6. Ok, so whether we draft a QB first overall, a no brainer, one of the greats types, like a Wentz (presumably) or a Cam Newton, one of those type of guys. Or if we draft a fourth round prospect, you still need the structure in place to put him in the position to succeed. You need a good team, and good to great coaching. The best QB's have solid support systems behind them. They need a QB coach, and offensive coordinator that works with them to put them in the best possible position. This is a huge part of what our team, the Bills, have been lacking. Cardale isnt going to succeed if we keep up with a revolving door of coordinators and coaching. He wont succeed if we throw him to the wolves with no support, like they did with EJ. They gave EJ very few tools, terrible coaching that didnt believe in him enough to stick with him and work with him. And just bailed on him and wrote him off after a handful of games. With EJ it was like the coaching staff didnt want him from the start and pulled the plug on him so early, almost as if they resigned themselves to the fact that he will never be good enough. Now since then, what have we had? 2-3 QB's that just arent good enough, including Taylor. Guys who might have a slightly different skillset than him, but ARE NO BETTER. Despite what you all read on here, Taylor, Orton, Cassell, Kolb... Are NO BETTER THAN EJ. If the team committs to the QB position, gets an amazing QB coach that can truly develop a young QB and puts him in the position to succeed, Cardale CAN succeed. But, if the organization is going to only worry about big splash trades for luxery pics like a fancy WR, or big name, overpaid DE, instead of focusing on cultivating the most important position in the game, then Cardale will fizzel out like the rest of them. Basically, what im saying, is coaching is really important, find a QB guru, and draft some good dang offensive linemen, once in awhile. And do not worry about starting Cardale Jones anytime soon. Im not saying Cardale will beanygood orbad, im saying under thiscurrent structure, hes gonna die out there.
  7. Marquise Goodwin gonna eat your lunch Richard Sherman!
  8. I dont frickin know, i believe, in title he is, but apparently hes got some good advisors. All i know is he seems to have two QB's that are better than anything we have seen in awhile. Id rather have good/great QB evaluation than someone who hits on a few defensive players every now and again. That dosent seem that hard to do. I feel like i could pick defensive players if i had the resources available. Its the QB's that are the elusive ones.
  9. Oh, i was under the impression that was Jerry. Oh well.
  10. Well Jerry isnt picking players now, but for quite awhile he did pick players. Was an unmitigated disater and he finally wised up and hired some real football people. Although, i believe, didnt he pull Romo out of basically nowhere?
  11. It only took him like 20 years and overpaying about 100 losers, but YES! He finally got something going over there in DFW. They do have a good team right now. Oh yeah, almost forgot... Whaley sucks
  12. I love the board like this, honestly. Everyone fightin, and bein super pissed at each other. Shootin out crazy opinions at each other, taking it personally, its hysterical. Especially cos we have no real football aspirations to talk about. 26 is cool, yeah, hes a little annoying and gets a bit emotional, but i do love the links and stuff. Its got its value. That Gilmore thread is a real work of art, though
  13. Hes got a cannon
  14. Now thats a bit of a leap from what i said. I think i made my point perfectly clear. You appear to value the thoughts and opinions of pro football players, i do not. Lets leave it at that.
  15. Its all good, just stating my opinion. I dont want to hear much from any of these guys, i just want to see them do what they do best, play football. And i think alot of people feel this way, the Kaepernick situation is the perfect example. Just hush up and play football, America dosent want their political or socio-economic views. America wants good football games.
  16. I have little value for the opinions of mid-twenty year old millionares who won the genetic lottery. But you can fawn over Richard Shermans intelligence and thoughtfullness all youd like.
  17. Rating decline is partly due to guys with big stupid mouths like Richard Sherman. Dont bite the hand that feeds you, Richard Sherman. We want to see you play football, not talk
  18. Its all good man. I wasnt lookin to start an internet rumble like alot of the other jabroni's on here.
  19. Whats to get? I wasnt really saying anything positive or negative about it, i was just making a statement. Murph gets some good guests sometimes, runs his show in a pretty organized manner. Yeah, hes a little too much rainbows and unicorns for my tastes, but hes a Bills employee so thats to be expected. I dont turn to Murph for in depth objective football analysis. But regarding Van, yeah, Van was the man. I would turn down the TV and turn onthe radio broadcast to hear Van, back in the day. I would never do that to hear Murph. I dont like Murph.
  20. All Murph ever cared about was getting Van Millers job.
  21. EJ, dont be discouraged yeaheahheahh The man he aint so hard to understand And EJ, you got to try nowoowooww You know that you can lend a helpin hand Because theres good in everyone And a new day has begununuun You can see the sun, if you try And i know Things will get better yeah Oh yes they will for EJ and the man, yeah Oh yes the will for EJ and the man Even though you funny, they just dont understand http://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=Dca1j1bKe8s
  22. Just look at the bright side guys. One more draft of all defensive players and we should be sittin pretty.
  23. Tomorrow never knows
  24. I think the idea there is that with Nicoles quickness and anticipation hes supposed to knock the ball down. With Bradys ability to throw into to perfect window, it did not work. Nobody wants Robey trying to tackle Gronk
