  1. Can't say it any better than that GG. I firmly believe they'll beat NE - I picked the Bills to drop the first two and then go on a roll in the TBD Preseason contest, and I've yet to see anything that can change my mind. In fact, all I see are signs of confirmation. Winning solves an awful lot of problems, doesn't it?
  2. If it was anyone BUT Miami I'd feel bad. The prospect of the 'Phins going 0-3 makes me downright giddy!!
  3. They showed the end of the 2nd hiighlites on espn and the weather looks amazing. No doubt the 'Phins will be missing Ricky on a night such as this. Feeley is 3 of 8 for 25 yds with 2 INTs at the half. Plus a WR lost a fumble on one of the completions. They've only mustered 36 yards rushing. If it was anyone else but Miami, I'd probably feel bad for them. I imagine this game is Pittsburgh's to lose...
  4. Good post BADOL but I'm not so sure Campbell deserves to be on that list. He's dropped what, 1 pass? And I'm not sure he's fumbled at all.
  5. That may be the most absurd football-related statement ever posted to TBD/TSW.
  6. When did he tell you that? TD is not just the GM, he's the only man not named Ralph Wilson to be the President of the Buffalo Bills. Suffice it to say, it'd take more than a disappointing season this year to make Ralph fire TD.
  7. 4everbills is a T-Bone? Oh well, enjoy the Lions' season "4ever"bills...
  8. If you're more concerned with comfort than a budget, there's Adams Mark in downtown and The DoubleTree next to Buffalo General and Roswell. Both nice, clean, have valet service, and very attentive staff.
  9. IMHO, the last U2 record worth buying is "Under a Blood Red Sky," and that's merely a live recording of some of their tunes from the albums Boy, October, & War. War, coincidentally, is the last good album U2 put out...
  10. Interesting thought JSP. I was talking to a fellow fan during the Raiders game, and I made the comment that although we have guys who can make some bigtime plays on both sides of the ball, it almost seems like they're playing "small." Too many missed opportunities, but I gotta' believe that all of these guys haven't forgotten how to play their position. I'm thinking (hoping) that they'll breakout against the Pats, and the confidence will spread throughout the team. It seems to me that the players lack that right now.
  11. That's one nice thing about moving away. All I have to do is hit Start>Shutdown Computer to get away from ignorant Bills fans
  12. IMO opinoin hockey is the greatest sport on the planet. But as it is a niche sport, the money that you see in baseball, basketball, and football just isn't there. The players have to understand that. The big money is in the States, and the passion Canada has for the game is greater than here. Until the players realize that they are getting the chance of a lifetime to get off the farm in ALberta, and stop treating the NHL like some entitlement program (see baseball, basketball, and football), there are going to continue to be labor/pay issues. I hope they get this thing settled soon. The game deserves better.
  13. Explain to her that you understand she's awfully busy, and remind her that as you are busy as well, and for those reasons you'd like to set a time where the two of you could meet free of interruptions so that the two of you could concentrate on buiding the business or whatever the issue(s) is/are.
  14. So you think that the 2003 incarnation of the team is better than the current version? I seem to remember the Bills doing fairly well against the Pats at The Ralph last season...
  15. I seriously doubt he'll be ready. I read an article where a guy with a similar injury would be out until week 10... Hopefully Lawyer's is less serious and we'll be able to get him back long before then.
  16. As it's spelled "e-x-p-l-a-n-a-t-i-o-n," I guess we know which 50% you are in.
