  1. Ok so you agree smiley wasn't good. The defence stepped up for sure- But was it Babich or McDermott? Remember my post is not on how the game went, it's how the coordinators performed. If you think it was MCD who more changed things around (like I do) , then you would be agreeing with me that Babich (the coordinator) wasn't on because the 1st half was a disaster For Brady- 16 runs to 5 first passes on 1st downs. 5 targets combined for Shakir and Kincaid, your two best weapons. And 5 straight runs when you're trying to win the game and Josh Allen is your QB. (Imagine Reid not giving Mahomes a chance to throw?) 34 points is 34 points I get it, but it didn't tell the whole story as Josh played out of his mind and saved a lot of 2nd and 3rd and longs because Brady stubbornly kept running the ball on 1st downs
  2. Ya 100 percent agreed. 1st half it worked well. But seemed like Arizona adjusted in the 2nd half and the bills run game was mostly a non factor, but they kept running it anyways. PAs and screens would have been perfect to your point
  3. Was it Babich or McDermott though? Serious question. Cause I did see McDermott with the play sheet and talking into the mic in the 2nd half at times. I didn't see that in the 1st half
  4. Fair points. I just felt like there were way too many 2nd and 3rd and longs yesterday. And the reason for that I think was because of the predicable running on 1st down. Im not sure what the play action percentage was, but I hope to see more PAs on 1st down and on 2nd and shorts
  5. On 1st down bills ran it 16 times to 5 passes. Shakir and Kincaid their two best weapons had 5 targets combined. The bills stubbornly ran it 5x in a row before the last field goal. That's unacceptable when you have Josh Allen . You give him a chance to ice the game. Point being: I thought the play calling was predicable, conservative and they didn't involve their top two weapons nearly enough. Josh bailed out Brady this game in my opinion. If you disagree, 100 percent all good
  6. Ya I think I just heard on WGR that on 1st downs, they ran it 16 times compared to 5 passes. So it does back up what we are saying with the play calling being pretty predictable. (And also vanilla) Also on the last drive they ran it 5 straight times before the field goal. That is unacceptable when Josh Allen is your QB. You have a chance to ice the game, put it in his hands
  7. That's totally fair if you/others disagree with me . I just don't understand when people basically say: "You shouldn't discuss anything negative cause the bills won"
  8. I was absolutely thrilled with the win and still am, as a win is a win. But Why is it not fair to discuss things that can be improved on after a win? And just like after a loss- are we just supposed to be completely negative then and not focus on any positives if the bills lose?
  9. My apologies. At first I thought you were mocking us for having sympathy but I read it again and I misunderstood. You're good, that's my bad
  10. Seriously 15 snaps (give or take) for Samuel? I think that kind of goes back to my original Disappointment in Brady. I thought we would see a lot more WR motion/ spreading the ball out, but it seems like the bills stubbornly ran the ball even though it wasn't working much in the 2nd half
  11. Ya He played pretty well also!
  12. I'm well aware of that game and it wasn't necessary to quote me. Since Favre had a great game after losing his dad, I guess every single athlete should as well right because everyone handles tragedy the exact same way?..
  13. Not to make excuses for Watson , but apparently he lost his dad this week. Thats gotta be tough to play with. In saying that, I still think his best days are way behind him and even last year he looked bad before his injury
  14. So we can't criticize the bills on certain things when they win is what you're saying?
  15. In the 1st half I didn't see McDermott have the play sheet. In the 2nd half on one drive I saw Mcdermott with the play sheet speaking into the mic. Was he calling plays? No idea, but he was definitely more involved in some way
  16. Love to see Tre White making plays. Great for him
  17. It was a bad play for sure, but overall he had an incredible game. Hes always gonna have a fair amount of turnovers each season , but for one bad play he has, he typically makes like 5 amazing ones
  18. Even that 3rd and 11 on the 1st drive in the 2nd half. Josh made that play looked easy, but it was ridiculously high level. When he juked the defender , rolled to his right and threw a dime to cook in stride. Any other QB besides maybe mahomes, and that drive results in a punt
  19. My criticisms personally was the play calling seemed a bit obvious, and not enough getting your best two players involved. (Kincaid and Shakir, and even not putting the ball enough in Josh's hands) 34 points, yes. But Josh played amazing who made incredible plays to keep drives alive. And they also played a horrible defence. I don't think Brady was "horrible", but I also want better if this is the guy who is going to lead us to a SB
  20. Haha I am not "lambasting" them. I pointed out things I didn't like personally. Stated that it was a good comeback win, and hopefully it will get better over time.
  21. Great post. This is exactly how I saw it as well
  22. Fair enough. Maybe I'm being a bit hard on him. I Just found a lot of the play calling seemed a bit predictable
  23. No but I also think it's a factor. Points, yards, field position, having a unicorn QB who can bail you out lol. I'm saying it's not "just points". Fair though, thats a good point you bring up in terms of only having the ball 3 times in the 1st half.
  24. It's a team game. But it's also a QB driven game, and Josh is a unicorn that made clutch 3rd down plays that no other QBs can make today. (Outside of Mahomes)
  25. I definitely won't deny the offensive production, but how much of that was Josh putting on the cape? He saved at least two drives with some next level 3rd down plays that only him and Mahomes can make If you liked his game plan that's totally fair. But I don't look at points and determine whether it was good or bad as there's a lot of context Josh saved a lot of drives with heroic plays. And they got 352 yards, that's really not great against a bad defence at home
