  1. And the part that he forgot to talk about was we didn't even stop the pass either haha. Tua sliced us all game long
  2. I agree with a lot of what you said, but respectfully disagree with the last part. Josh is the best QB in the stadium, maybe except when they play the chiefs. And what's the way to beat great offences/QBs? Keep them on the sidelines, which is what the bills defence allows teams to do to Josh To put it this way: Bills had only 8 possessions against Miami. When it comes to the bills , I like my odds better when the game is longer with more possessions, not shorter Because that means more possessions for the superior QB. (Josh in this case)
  3. From what I remember- wasn't he asked to play 1 tech a lot in 2020 with the bills which isn't his natural position? So hopefully a return to 3 tech will go better as I believe he's been pretty descent since leaving
  4. I usually love his all 22s, but this one was a bit bizarre. He talked about how the Bills conceded the run and used "EPA" to back up that it was a smart move. I disagree, but ok. But.. Then didn't mention anything at all about the bills getting gashed in the passing game as well. If bills conceded rushing yards but only gave up 150 passing yards, ok.. But that wasn't the case and Tua was slicing and dicing them all game long
  5. Yep. Which is why I will always be in the camp of I would rather be more aggressive and get burned the odd time, compared to "death by 1000 cuts" and keeping Josh on the sideline. I feel like the Bills game plan like underdogs a lot of the time, even though they are 6 plus point favourites
  6. Haha true. So we gave up the run, gave up the easy 5-15 yard passes, and even still let up a "should have been" big play lol
  7. The part I have a problem with is - if you are gonna concede the run, at least take away the pass. They got ran on for 150 yards and Tua had 3 incompletions in 28 attempts. We stopped the big play though, cool...
  8. True, I was more saying if it went to OT though. I would have played to win there
  9. Another blunder to kick it off there. make him return it to kill 5-7 seconds.
  10. Bowles botched that whole sequence. Calls the timeout too early and doesn't go for two
  11. Mahomes pulling his inner Ben roethlisberger
  12. Big shocker, he's fine.
  13. One of his points was the bills run offence was "better" per yards in per carry I don't know how that has any relevance to the bills rushing defence. I was not talking about the bills rushing offence, I was talking about the rushing defence. I don't get how that has any relevance .
  14. Yep agreed. I don't mind the philosophy of playing two deep for the most part. But I do wish they mixed in more run blitzes and a few more simulated pressures. Just seemed way too predictable and passive
  15. Yep I agree. Just wanted to share the confirmation essentially
  16. No problem buddy! That's awesome you were at the game. How was the atmosphere, pretty crazy I would assume?
  17. So if bass misses the 61 yard field goal and the bills lose in regulation or overtime, then it's only appropriate to talk about it?🤦‍♂️ Agreed. He was almost flawless. I watch a ton of Miami games and I think this was his best game as a coach calling plays
  18. Yep you're right it was Taron Johnson who did say that
  19. Ya I agree. The first half game script definitely went in Miamis favour. In credit to them though, they were down 7 in the 4th quarter multiple times and continued to stay patient with the run
  20. Im not sure how the bills offence and winning the game has any relevance to this topic. Clearly the bills run defence struggled yesterday and there was a long thread yesterday on what happened to the defence. So just sharing it for anyone who wanted a breakdown.
  21. https://youtu.be/EPkedRDUGgI?si=RZxz3m4BYhHINKKG Main Summary/Observations if you don't want to watch the video -Dolphins had 31 rushing attempts for 159 yard- On 18 of those runs, Bills played light boxes and gave up 108 yards on those plays -Said Mcdaniel was very creative with motion and creating leverage on a lot of the runs -Said they were picking on Taron a lot in the run game and it seemed to me they were attacking him with Ingold a lot of the time My own thoughts from seeing that: -D line wasn't good, but as a lot of us know this was more scheme related into why the Bills couldn't stop the run yesterday -Miami was in 21 personnel a lot with Ingold, meanwhile Bills only had 6 guys in the box, or 7 with Taron. That right there^ is a massive advtantage for Miami, and it seemed like Mcdermott/Babich were betting on Mcdaniel getting away from the run, but he never did and remained patient all game long.
  22. True, that was probably another dropped TD there as cook most likely would have scored on that play
