  1. And here's the other thing- people think just cause the bills got the ball to Diggs and got the 1st down, that they were automatically going to score.. They still would have had about 15-20 yards to go. And what happens if you get stopped? Now you're relying on Tyler bass to tie the game, and we know all that worked out.. If a wide open TD is there, you take it 100/100 times. It was just unfortunate that Dawkins got pushed back into Josh
  2. It's an interesting discussion if bills don't get the 1 seed if they should sit their starters week 18. As a hypothetical example:Play your starters and win week 18 and you get the 2 seed. Or risk losing and it drops you to the 3 or 4 seed Can make an argument either way
  3. But if you miss it, the game is over. That's the problem. Even if you get it, there's so much time for Baltimore to score. If there was like 15 seconds left, then it's a different story
  4. Point is if they miss it, the game is over. If they get it, ravens have 38 seconds and two timeouts to win it. Not a good risk/reward
  5. It's just not a smart decision. You get it and ravens still have 38 seconds and two timeouts to win. You don't get it, and it's over. Doesn't make sense to me.
  6. I don't agree with bengals going for two here. Too much time left
  7. Believe it or not he actually played last week haha. Just didn't do anything
  8. Ya Joe Marino is great, but that may have been one of the worst podcasts I've listened from him. Justifying Miami running it down their throats with long play drives that keeps Josh on the sidelines, makes absolutely 0 sense to me
  9. Looks like a catch to me. Unless his other foot hit out of bounds first
  10. Ravens for myself. I don't want the bengals in the playoffs as a potential first round matchup
  11. Cinci is a high variance team for sure, but they still are a dangerous team IMO. Would not want to face them in the playoffs
  12. What does it matter if you stop the big play if you let up 9-14 play drives that results in TDs? Thats even worse than giving up a big play as it keeps Josh on the sideline and you let the underdog team shorten the game
  13. Oh sorry, ya I agree about Coleman, I don't think he will play against Indi either You didn't list cooper in your post as one of the pass catchers, so I was saying I think there's a decent chance he plays Sunday💪 let's hope at least
  14. I wouldn't rule out cooper quite yet. McDermott on Monday said he's day to day and he practiced in limited yesterday, so I would say it's 50/50 he plays
  15. Defences adapted and went more small so a lot of teams (one being the bills) adapted by going more heavy with 21 and 12 personnel. But I do agree that I would like to see the bills a bit more in spread as I think that's where Josh Allen is at his best
  16. I don't know if you remember the bills Seahawks game in 2020 in Buffalo. When the bills won like 48-31 or something. That was one of my favourite defensive game plans even though they let up a lot of points and got burned on some plays. It was super aggressive, created 2-3 turnovers and a lot of key third down sacks. Personally I wish they would attack like that more often, especially with Josh Allen as the QB. Cause if you give up a big play it's not the end of the world as you have a super star QB to answer But you're right it is a moot point - As bills defence under McDermott will predominantly be "rush 4, make offences stack play after play"
  17. And the part that he forgot to talk about was we didn't even stop the pass either haha. Tua sliced us all game long
  18. I agree with a lot of what you said, but respectfully disagree with the last part. Josh is the best QB in the stadium, maybe except when they play the chiefs. And what's the way to beat great offences/QBs? Keep them on the sidelines, which is what the bills defence allows teams to do to Josh To put it this way: Bills had only 8 possessions against Miami. When it comes to the bills , I like my odds better when the game is longer with more possessions, not shorter Because that means more possessions for the superior QB. (Josh in this case)
  19. From what I remember- wasn't he asked to play 1 tech a lot in 2020 with the bills which isn't his natural position? So hopefully a return to 3 tech will go better as I believe he's been pretty descent since leaving
  20. I usually love his all 22s, but this one was a bit bizarre. He talked about how the Bills conceded the run and used "EPA" to back up that it was a smart move. I disagree, but ok. But.. Then didn't mention anything at all about the bills getting gashed in the passing game as well. If bills conceded rushing yards but only gave up 150 passing yards, ok.. But that wasn't the case and Tua was slicing and dicing them all game long
  21. Yep. Which is why I will always be in the camp of I would rather be more aggressive and get burned the odd time, compared to "death by 1000 cuts" and keeping Josh on the sideline. I feel like the Bills game plan like underdogs a lot of the time, even though they are 6 plus point favourites
  22. Haha true. So we gave up the run, gave up the easy 5-15 yard passes, and even still let up a "should have been" big play lol
  23. The part I have a problem with is - if you are gonna concede the run, at least take away the pass. They got ran on for 150 yards and Tua had 3 incompletions in 28 attempts. We stopped the big play though, cool...
