  1. Can't say for sure but looks like teams are attacking the linebackers a lot more in gnf middle of the field. Just something I've noticed. Maybe I'm wrong
  2. I think its a combination of a lot of things. The Bills were giving up lots of yards with the exception of the Jets and Panthers game, but the difference is the Bills were getting tons of turnovers that lead them to 5-2. They aren't getting those turnovers anymore. Losing Dareus for sure hurt the run defence. Scheme I believe has been figured out. Teams just aren't beating themselves and are attacking the linebackers in the passing game. Linebackers have taken a huge step back the last few weeks. And pass rush. The Bills were getting after the QB with 4 or 5 guys consistently but now they can't even come close. Add all those thing together and you get a recipe for disaster
  3. Not all first round picks pan out of course to your point, but obviously if a guy is drafted in the first round especially first overall, they have a much higher skill set. Think about it this way. Was anyone doubting Andrew Luck after his first game? Hmmm probably not. Nate Peterman on the other hand? Of course because he is a 5th rounder and has a very limited skill set. This is not to say he can't be successful, but the odds are heavily stacked against him compared to a QB who is drafted first off the board Exactly this^
  4. Those guys you listed were all 1st picks off the board or first round picks though. Peterman is a 5th round pick with minimal talent.
  5. I don't know enough about college football. Whoever the best QB is, draft him lol
  6. The reason I wanted Lynn was because Gus Bradley and Whisenhunt were packaged with him. Especially Gus Bradley People say Lynn blew games. But is it his fault his kicker missed a 40 yard field goal to beat Miami? And is it his fault his running back fumbles when they are killing clock against Jacksonville?
  7. Fair enough man. I personally am very dissapointed in the lack of talent, especially young talent. The bills are going to hit absolute home runs on their next 2 drafts just to be descent. That's very tough to do. If you're happy by all means, but I can't say I am at all right now. I thought if anything the Bills should have a respectable defence. You know, since we apparently hired a defensive coach..
  8. Exactly. For me I could care less they are 5 and 5. I would rather them be 3 and 7 and actually look like they are coming together and playing better as the year goes on. But they are in the opposite trend and to your point, have been historically bad the last 3 weeks.
  9. If you're happy just because their record says 5 and 5 then by all means. But everyone knows that 2 or 3 of those wins were extremely lucky where they got virtually every break. That's just not sustainable to force 3 plus turnovers a game The reality of situation is they are 5 and 5 with the 27th ranked offence and the 30th ranked defence. They are on a sharp decline and look worse by the week. If you're happy that they won 2 or 3 of those 5 games by great bounces and a massive turnover differential then fair enough. But I can't see how that will benefit them in the future because it's an unsustainable method of winning. As we are now witnessing
  10. It shouldn't take 3 to 5 years to turn around a franchise. Want a few examples? Seahawks in 2012, chiefs in 2013, Rams this year. I didn't expect the bills to make the playoffs this year but I also didn't expect them to regress massively on both sides of the ball including having one of the worst defences in the league with a "defensive head coach"
  11. Lol how's that working out for them so far?
  12. 21st is for defence? I believe they are 27th in yards and 30th in points. If you are referring to 21st I'm guessing that's total defence when they were getting tons of turnovers the first 6 weeks. Obviously not sustainable The defence is getting worse as the year goes on as well. Which tells me teams are figuring out his scheme and the Bills haven't adjusted. Very low talent like you've said, but this is the defence him and Beane are making and it's simply terrible right now
  13. Let's be honest, whoever has watched the Bills this year knows that probably 3 of those wins were very lucky as so many things went their way. I don't agree with all the trades but they did it. For them to be successful in 2 years they are going to have to hit home runs on the next 2 drafts. Very hard to do. And I didn't expect the Bills to be good but I thought I would at least see improvements. They are getting worse as the season goes on. If they started slow and reversed the trend, I would have a lot more faith in him. But it's the opposite and it really makes me wonder what exactly this guy has accomplished/built That's how Canadians spell it lol. Its not wrong for us
  14. Both of them. From my understanding McD has a big say on personnel moves. And he is a defensive coach, (well supposed to be anyways) so I can almost guarantee he had a big influence on some of the players he traded away/brought in
  15. Oh sorry buddy, misunderstood you. Ya it really is frustrating right now. I expected them to improve alot on defence this year
  16. What exactly is brutal? That I'm stating facts about their offensive and defensive ranks?
  17. I expected him to improve on the defence not regress. That's asking a lot? A big reason they are trash is because he decided to trade good players away. That's on him
  18. Lol oh ok no problem buddy. And thanks, I appreciate it
  19. About what? That I am from Canada, or because you said I spelt it wrong? Lol
  20. I am from Canada. That's how we spell it here
  21. I get what you're saying but i still disagree with it. I would rather him come out and say something like... "our last 3 performances were awful and that starts with me as a coach. We are still alive and we are Right in the hunt and we will do everything we can to get back to the way we know how to play". Not sound like a phony optimist. I'm pretty sure a player would rather hear the coach say something like I mentioned above instead of pretending like everything is ok. I don't think the players buy that for one second
  22. Gilmore was a free agent. Hyde is good, Poyer has regressed a lot since his hot start. Bills on offence are ranked 27th in yards, would probably be closer to 32 if it wasn't for garbage time stats the last 3 games Bills on defence are 25th in yards and 30th points. The sad part is this guy is supposed to be a defensive coach. Hyde and White are good, but if they are 30th in points, what good is that? Got to look at the big picture. They have sooo many holes on that defence The Bills also have virtually no young talent on their team with the exception of Tre White. So once again, what exactly has Mcd done? They have regressed big time on both sides on the ball and they probably have the worst young talent in the NFL But he's done a god job so far, right? What good has that done though? They are 30th in points
  23. You are happy with Mcd so far? Name one good thing he has done so far. And trading away good players for mid to late round picks would not be considered good in my books
  24. I agree 100 percent. I wonder if he actually believes the garbage he says
