  1. Disagree. They are doing it to a much lesser extent. That game against Tampa TT was in shotgun a lot of the game and they did a lot of zone read running. Then he was back under centre a lot the next 3 games. Either way you slice it, their run game numbers are way down from the past 2 years. And a big reason is because they run the ball with TT under centre a lot, with a zone blocking scheme that doesn't suit this offence. Exactly!
  2. Starting Peterman in hindsight over TT was a very dumb decision if you think that gave the Bills the best chance to win. If he thought that fine. It didn't work out but own up to it. Don't give a b.s quote like "I don't regret the decision I regret the result".. pretty much saying he made the right decision and the players didn't execute. If he wants to start Peterman for the future then don't lie to the players and fans saying he's trying to win now. He handled this situation terribly all around. Especially when he says TT is his starter then goes to Peterman 2 days later. He is coming across as a phony on so many levels
  3. I hope not. They have to spend their money on the front 7 and O line. Yes McCoy is getting older but running backs are a dime a dozen and they can easily pick one up for very cheap. (Late round pick either this year or next)
  4. But there are big problems with that. He said they are trying to win now and in the future. Putting Peterman in to win now was a terrible move. And putting him in for the future contradicts what he said about winning this year. Either way you slice it, he either made a terrible mistake by putting in Peterman to win now... Or he lied to his team and his fans by saying they are trying to win now and then puts Peterman in for the future. Almost certainly he put him in because he somehow thought he gave them the best chance to win. No way he would play for the future when they were 5 and 4 in a weak AFC
  5. Not being critical, just stating facts. You are saying he owned the decision if I read that right? He didn't at all is what I'm saying. That's pretty inarguable by his post game quotes
  6. Ya depending how the defence plays. If they play like the last 3 games they will lose out. But of course I don't think they continue that horrid streak as they have been historically bad
  7. Well of course it didn't work out the way he wanted lol. It couldn't have gotten much worse at that. He did make the wrong decision and he hasn't really owned it. What was his quote. "I don't regret the decision, I regret the result?". Basically saying he still thinks it was the right move starting Peterman and not admitting it was wrong.
  8. You are being optimistic haha. I think the Bills will win one more game max. They are the worst team in football right now
  9. Mcd is a phony in my books. I love how after the Saints game he says TT is the starter and then he goes to Peterman. Just jerking his players around. If he wasn't sure who to start, all you got to say is a cliche answer. "We will evaluate every position including quarterback". Really not that difficult
  10. I think the talent was pretty similar to be honest. Offensive line they had injuries last year as well. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't wood miss the last 6 or 7 games or so, and I believe cordy glenn was in and out of the lineup as well. Once again correct me if I'm wrong but I think that was the case. Miller is not a fit for his scheme, and it also appears that the whole offence isn't with the exception of maybe dawkins and incognito. Once again I will put blame on Rico for that because there was no reason to completely chance the offence from last year, especially the run game. Take out the Wrs and a backup RB and lets focus on the run game. How do you explain the massive drop off in rush yards from the past 2 seasons to this year? 1 and 2 ranked the past 2 years to average now. You can say O line all you want, but they had injuries as well last 2 years so that cant be an excuse. I`ll explain the massive drop off. Rico Dennison and his zone run scheme that are not meant for his players. He is a stubborn old school coach who doesn't seem to adjust. And the reason why they ran well against Tampa? Because it actually looked similar to last years run scheme. Then he stopped doing it for whatever reason
  11. Yep. It also seems like he has a bit of an ego. So by starting TT next week, he would pretty much be admitting his decision to start Peterman was wrong. For me it is a no brainer to go back to TT but let's see what happens
  12. Ya I'll agree to that. I think he bails them out slightly more though
  13. Agreed. Funny cause lots of people think TT makes the line look bad but I think its the exact opposite like you stated. Yes he takes a lot of sacks, but he also avoids multiple sacks every single game
  14. You are right that they are light years away but I would still get a QB in the first round next year if they like someone
  15. Ok factoring every game in they are the 30th ranked defence instead of having the worst defence. Sorry that I cherry picked those stats to make him look like a bad defensive coach..
  16. I think having a potential franchise QB is more appealing than a few weapons though
  17. Do you think McVay would have came to Buffalo though? I'm guessing L.A was an attractive job for him because of having the first pick off the board in Goff to work with
  18. Yep, our coaching is terrible all around. I get the trust the process thing was cool while the Bills were doing good, but that gets old very fast when you get destroyed 3 weeks in a row
  19. Ya man I for sure hear you about the lack of talent. I do see a few problems with Rico though. Last year the Bills had an average to above average offence, with roughly the same amount of talent. I will say the Bills had slightly more talent last year because of Watkins, although he missed a lot of games. Woods/Matthews to me are pretty equal and Woods missed games last year just like Matthews missed games this year. So overall pretty similar in terms of talent, but like I said I'll give the edge to last year by a bit . And now this year they are bottom 5, and probably closer to bottom 3. He just completely changed the scheme that does not suit TT or McCoy, and it obviously isn't working out. Just no variety at all, predictable play calling, and has a scheme that doesn't fit his players. Almost like a "my way or the highway" approach. I think that is bad coaching.... I will never disagree with you in saying they have little talent, because that's 100 percent true. But I also think Rico is a big problem and the stats reflect it when you compare last years offence to this years I
  20. I agree they have no talent. But Dennison doesn't get a free pass because there is no talent. He's simply awful. And I wasn't attacking you for the record, was just asking you a legit question if you liked Dennison or not. Sorry if it came across wrong
  21. Talent aside, are you defending Dennison and think he's a descent o coordinator who runs a good scheme with a creative playbook?
  22. I will agree with you that it's more than just losing Dareus, but I will also say losing him has obviously played a role in the defensive collapse. It really is hard to argue the stats with vs without him, and that goes for Jacksonville's numbers as well.
  23. That's fair to say. But I would say he's definitely not an idiot and I would say he's an extremely smart business man. You don't fluke your way to being a multi billionaire
  24. Lol Pegula isn't a billionaire because he's an idiot.... He may not know how to run a sports franchise, but thats ignorant to say he's an idiot because of that. He's obviously made many smart moves in his life to get him to a net worth of around 5 billion or whatever it is....
