10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers 1st Half game thread

This is the offence they want my friend. This was a conscious decision by Beane/mcdermott/brady to structure their offence this way -

There's no way the chiefs would ever let Mahomes throw it 20-25 games and play clock control offence. It's a dumb strategy when you have an elite QB -

Shakir is better IMO. But ya sadly you can make a case for him being the 2nd best now. (He retired though so not even an option) -

Yep. He's had two possessions mid way through the 2nd quarter -

It's really refreshing to hear. I've been saying this all season Why the hell did we build an offence to play clock control and limit possessions -

Just a poorly coached team. This is after our bye week? -

He's also a rhythm passer who likes operating in shotgun. But Bills built an offence to run the ball with heavy sets. Still will never understand the philosophy -

What's the point of having Josh Allen at QB if we call offence like this? Such a waste of talent -

Like Olsen said- Carolina will sign up all day for these long/clock control drives. No idea why we play offence like underdogs and try to shorten the game -

Lundt, Milano, Codrington, Jackson, Jones, Palmer. I think that's it, might be missing one though. Kincaid and Bernard playing though -

Poyer and Tre white starting, turning back the clock to 2017 here lol -
I'm not sure how the missed tackles has anything to do with the Joe Brady conversation lol. No it's not all Brady. But he's been a problem this year. I would suggest listening to the last two all 22 breakdowns by Joe Marino on the falcons and patriots game and you'll see how stubborn he is with game planning and play calling. I would have gotten rid of McDermott, yes. Would I RIGHT now? No cause it's in the middle of the season and I don't just base my opinions on emotions cause they've lost two in a row. But yes I would have fired him after 13 seconds or the 2022 bengals loss.

Ya this is exactly it. Unless Myles Garrett and an all pro corner walk through this door, the scheme is the thing that needs fixing. Instead they ignored the offence like you said and tied up 90 percent of resources on the defence. The result? Defence still sucks and offence has regressed because they are actually getting a normal amount of negative plays
-
Last year I was pretty frustrated with Brady. More towards the playoffs in particular. I just kept my mouth shut of course as I can't argue with the success that the offence was having. Every single thing went right for the offence last year though. Josh had the least amount of negative plays by a QB in NFL history last season, and it is just a very tough formula to replicate. We are now seeing what this offence can look like when there are a normal amount of negative plays that happens for a team, with not many explosive plays in the passing game.

100 percent. I was just saying they aren't trying to tank. McDaniel is trying to win as he won't survive a 2-15 kind of season to say the least
-
Ya there's no way Miami was/is trying to tank. Grier and McDaniel are fighting for their jobs. Only way to save their jobs would be to somehow make a turn around for the ages

Definitely looks like a concussion for Maye -
Ya cause Josh sending Beane a text "Dalton Kincaid ", gave no influence whatsoever on the pick right? lol. Like I said, you have your agenda, so believe whatever you want.
-
These are direct quotes by Brandon Beane... lol. There's nothing fluff about it. Believe whatever you want though, all good
-
You don't need to be on first hand terms with Josh, Beane or McDermott to know this my guy. Plenty of reports and articles that back this up https://www.nfl.com/news/bills-gm-brandon-beane-josh-allen-pretty-pumped-we-drafted-wr-keon-coleman https://billswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/bills/2024/04/19/josh-allen-draft-day-text-brandon-beane-buffalo-bills-dalton-kincaid/73383438007/

Do you not know he was the primary reason they wanted Kincaid and Coleman?
