  1. Based on what? Mcdermott always said Leslie ran the defence and he didn't interfere . His exact words were in I believe it was 2021: "This is Leslie's Defence"
  2. Leslie Frazier somehow always came up with amazing blueprints against Lamar. I get Lamar is a lot more refined now and they got Derrick Henry, but if I were Bobby B? I would be picking Leslie's brain a bit and/or watch film of those past games
  3. If the bills commit to stop the run, they will for the most part. Majority of the time it comes down to a numbers game in the box. So if the bills stack the box, Baltimore won't have consistent success. The concern with that though is letting up a long TD run. Cause if Henry breaks the 1st line of defence, then he's gone
  4. I wouldn't get my hopes up on this upset gentleman. Whether Houston is Healthy or has a few injuries, it is extremetly unlikely they pull off this upset in Arrowhead
  5. Ya exactly- will see what his practice status is today. Generally speaking though from what I've seen- If he's limited today, probably going to be out. We will see
  6. McDermott: -Davis still in concussion protocol. -Anderson trending towards playing Anderson playing would be big
  7. Yep exactly-( per the bolded) In the 2020 playoff game everyone said the wind would favour Baltimore cause they are the better running team. Which wasn't the case. On Sunday if the weather effects Lamar, the bills can just sell out against the run and take away the middle of the field
  8. Ya Knox is a tricky one- I think a lot of us think he has a fairly important role on the team- As the blocking tight end who can still make some plays in the receiving game. But it's more just the contract that complicates things- As pretty objectively, he makes too much
  9. Mcgovern/Edwards. Good choices
  10. Just saw a stat: Josh is 14-2 in games where the temperature is below 32. Home field with frigid weather, should be a massive advantage for the Bills
  11. Sucks, but I honestly don't think it matters. KC is going to win by two scores, with or without Mixon in my opinion. (Might be 3 scores now)
  12. Love it. The Colder the better for my money
  13. Ya I agree- Cause to start the 2022 year, the bills offence was really good. Then it seemed like teams figured Dorsey out. Combine that with a couple of key injuries on defence, (Von miller, Tre white being a shell of himself coming back from injury, etc) and then the Damar Hamlin incident against Cinci? I think that's why that team went sideways
  14. I will give credit where credit is due, really good post buddy and I appreciate you taking the time to dig into the stats. Fron the 2022 team stats aside, something just felt off with that team- Kind of reminded me of the Minnesota Vikings in a way, where they really didn't pass the smell test, even though the record was good This year feels different. And I am the furthest thing from a homer, if anything I am on the slighty pessimistic side. Health for sure is important to your point- We will see what happens- Going to be a dog fight on Sunday
  15. Maybe- I saw the flaws before that though as well. They were on the verge of getting absolutely destroyed in Cincinnati, before the game was cancelled
  16. September/october 2022 the bills were much better. November onwards, it's really not even close that the 2024 bills are much better. I would guarantee the stats would objectively say the bills were a way better team from November to the divisional round , compared to the 2022 bills. And most importantly, anyone who watched the last 8 games or so of the 2022 bills would agree. It's pretty black and white
  17. The bills absolutely dominated that Denver game and you know that. I can also say we were one Dawson Knox/josh Allen mis communication away from getting another TD. Or what if Vinovich doesn't miss the blatant hold against Kincaid in the end zone that took another 4 points off the board? Can't play the "what if game". It was an ass kicking all around, and even the biggest broncos homers would admit that. Yes bills are flawed on the D line- Not denying they don't have flaws. (Every team has flaws). But objectively this team is way better than 2022, and that was my main point
  18. Giving KC their only loss (without their backups), and going on the road and beating the 15-2 Lions is paper tiger ish to you?
  19. Im Not talking about hindsight- I knew in mid December that team was going nowhere. And I knew after they beat Skylar Thompson by a field goal, that they were going to lose to Cinci. You are telling me that you didn't, and you felt the same in 2022 after the wild card game to where this team is now? It's not even close. Will the bills lose to the ravens? possible as they are a juggernaut. But I would bet a large amount of money they they aren't gonna lose by 17 and get dominated
  20. The first half of the year, 100 percent agreed. But it was obvious towards the end of the year that they were going nowhere. Wasnt it Jerry Sullivan who said the awkward offence statement to Josh towards the end of the year when he told him- "this doesn't look like a Super Bowl offence". He is a jerk, but he was right. That 2022 team was cursed, and anyone who feels the same coming out of that Skylar Thompson playoff win, to the team we have now, I would respectfully question their memory/judgement
  21. Did you not watch the 2022 Bills? You came out of that regular season/ that wild card game barely beating Skylar Thompson, thinking that they were a legit Super Bowl contender?
  22. 2022 bills team were paper tigers for a lot of the year. (Even though they had a bunch of wins) 2024 bills team is a legit Super Bowl contender. I don't see any similarities, respectfully
  23. You're right- however those defences went on different paths. I listened to locked on broncos and they said their defence was a disaster the last 5-6 games. (Minus against the chiefs backups) Meanwhile Baltimore was horrible to start the season, but arguably have been the best defence since week 11. I still have faith in the bills offence- But those defensive stats are a bit misleading , as those defences were/are going in opposite directions
  24. I just opened up a full on Celsius vs Fahrenheit conversion debate in the middle of a bills vs ravens thread, didn't I lol
