You're right about the rule, but wrong about the reason. The NFL only allows us to have one last name multiple times. We had chosen Williams but have decided to switch to Brown. The league allows us a year's grace period to get the number of Williamses down to one, which is why we cut Mario, IR'd Aaron Williams and plan to let Duke Williams walk after this season. Now, the question is whether they force Kyle into retirement or attempt to stash Jonathan on the PS.

This is on par with Cris Carter's "fall guy" remarks.

Still think we have a good shot here.

But but Duke and Meeks just looked so good in camp! They did also sign Blanton and Colt, but they probably would have done well to add maybe Reggie Nelson as someone more dependable.

That's only about a mile from the bar. There are plenty of transit options to get you to and from. I would advise that over trying to find parking/paying for an expensive lot spot.

Dunno how much of his lack of receptions, etc. are his fault. I do know that he is doing well blocking. He is making too much $ not to get more involved in the passing game, but I'm betting he takes on double teams a lot without Sammy, Goodwin and a healthy Woods.

DBs gotta get their shiz together no doubt. But I'm choosing to find solace in the fact that we will not face a QB that good again this season.

I will say in his defense we had a couple good deep balls draw PI. He does miss plenty of routine throws. We should have been ground and pounding a lot more early on. Run game was moving the ball and controlling clock. Ended up giving Brady opportunity to hang 14 on us realy quick and it snowballs from there.

He works for the style of offense we want to run. Run first, options, etc. He has a good deep ball and mobility/escapability. He is a good QB when playing with the lead, but is not a good enough QB to win in a shootout. However, he is a much better passer with Sammy on the field.

Wade Phillips took a hit on the sideline.

Truly, half the players on that team would be useless on any other roster.

I was one of the only guys calling out Meeks in the game thread but it seemed so obvious the TD was on Meeks. Still, doesn't excuse Gilmore's attitude. He probably could have tried a little harder to make a play before calling out Meeks.

And possibly a third tie this season!

Seattle scored 20 total points against the worst D in the NFL - and that total includes a TD scored by their defense. Don't care that it was on the road. Seattle has some injuries too and we can beat them

The talent is there. Gotta let the season play out to really know what's wrong. Getting Shady & Sammy back and running through a relatively easy schedule could make all this go away.

We are 1-3 in the division. I also think Kyle was phenomenal today. We can use the injury excuse, but frankly the D was almost at full health and let Brady pick them apart all day. That can't be excused. More D stops and the upset would have been there for the taking.
