Hope Blanton/Duke/Meeks are ready to step up. Doesn't inspire the most confidence, but I'm trusting Blanton will correct some of his mistakes from last week.

I think we all knew this was a distinct possibility, but AW is passionate about the game and went out anyway. He was having a good year too :/

I think CJ could be good as a receiving back, but we have all said the same of Bush and it appears Lynn isn't really interested in using him for that purpose all that much. I will say, however, that our OL has been mostly better than Seattle's, so maybe CJ would fare better here.

I think Goodwin has a flair for the dramatic.

I'll say this: Darby shouldn't have had to chase Jay Ajayi all the way down the field to save a TD. It's a team sport. Darby made some mistakes, sure, but Gilmore had a pretty good game and I think the front seven's inability to stop the run ends up hurting Our pass D and it all falls apart.

As I said in the NE prep thread, beating New England at home is going to repair some of the damage this week's loss caused. We would have a tiebreaker against them if by some stroke of luck we should finish with the same record, and it gives us a decent shot at 4-2 in the division. Cincy and Oakland have not been unstoppable and I think we can take at least one of them down. I just really need to see how the team responds here.

Well on the optimistic side, a win here would make up for the loss yesterday and go a long way in our chances at the division of we keep pace with New England down the line.

They beat us playing our brand of football. Our OL was not getting any push. And Lynn was a mad man for forcing Shady the ball all first half and then later calling a freaking wildcat play when we were not beating them in the trenches.

He made some mistakes but this is the first game I've really questioned Lynn's playcalling. Some strange calls, burning more clock, etc. That and our OL was getting beat by their DL most of the game.

Injuries hurt us. But it seemed like they weren't prepared to deal without them. However, both of our lines were owned by theirs and that is what did us in.

Awful.

Can't believe we didn't utilize Bush and gilly more early. They would have been more effective.
