  1. Teams that all finish with the same record rotate spots. Us, the Saints and Eagles all finished 7-9 so we rotate picking 10th, 11th and 12th in each round.
  2. They can use Lamp too.
  3. We all want a receiver, we don't want to trade our freshly acquired 3rd for him.
  4. I know I'm not Yolo, but a lot of us would rather get 3 good players than 2 today. If we can move up for a 5th or 6th I'd be more on board, but there are other good talents on the board that squandering a 3rd for this guy may be ill-advised.
  5. Hey this mock says Zay will be there at 44: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000803145/article/rounds-23-mock-draft-steelers-stop-deshone-kizers-slide
  6. Leroi is saying we are looking trade up for him. Hope we don't, but if the team believes he is far superior to anyone left on the board then I guess they gotta go do it. WR is a need.
  7. Trades can be mutually beneficial.
  8. So what about picking a CB at 10 says we are ready for the playoffs that trading down and drafting a CB doesn't? I mean, is Marshon Lattimore going to take us to the playoffs? Is he that much better than White? I think our trade was more of an opportunist play. You know you want a DB, and you see good DBs all up and down the board, and someone is offering you two picks of considerable value to stick to pick a comparable player? I mean Lattimore is definitely the better prospect, but in White you get a four-year starter who may be more pro-ready.
  9. Other teams to trade down include Seattle (like every year) and Green Bay. Trading up or down doesn't concede anything about the FO's view of the roster.
  10. Considering this is what we got, does it lessen the blow that we took a CB, especially with the possibility of Cam Robinson being there for us in the second? To me, if we were going to take a corner in the first, this is exactly how I wanted it done. Filling a need with a strong, pro-ready prospect and adding two good picks. Not flashy, but sound.
  11. Every year I say the Chiefs aren't very good and every year they churn out double digit wins and I am freaking sick of it! Time for a correction! Let's see that Chiefs pick become top 15!
  12. White has much to do with the trade. And tell me, how would you feel if we stayed at 10 and picked Lattimore instead, which reports have said was the plan until the trade went through?
  13. Pats might be a bad example for you because they have had one of the greatest QBs of all time.
  14. Very curious to see what the Brownies do at QB. They gonna wait until next year to draft one? Sign Cutler or Kap? Draft a mid-round guy? But I think what the Bears did was worse.
  15. IDK about that pick. We will see how it goes!
  16. Conley must be good to go. But then again it is Oakland...
  17. Foster would be great.
  18. That John Lynch k ow what he's doing!
  19. Lol this is like when the Browns traded up one for Trent Richardson. Fleeced. Unless of course Trubisky turns out good.
  20. Trade #1... Chicago up one for Solomon Thomas?
  21. That's our scouts sabotaging this year's draft, obviously!
  22. Bill, I know you more than anyone would hate to see a DB taken at #10, but in this draft I would prefer to see them look at DB in the second and/or third rounds. We could even see some top talent (Conley, Jones) fall that far because of various issues that may end up not being issues at all. I don't want a Q at #10 but if the staff has a plan I'm more than willing to hear them out. There are some really interesting prospects at the quarterback position this year. All in all this should be a very exciting draft!
  23. Actually it was 2009 - Maybin and Wood Before that 2006 - Whitner and McCargo and 2004 - Evans and Losman Don't know beyond that.
