I'm not sure there was any "intent" on Wawrow's part. He's not that kind of reporter. Just reporting some interesting news in the process. I agree it won't make a difference in the process, as the JBJ group seems pretty much dead in the water. It's nice to see more potential trouble for them, though. And of course rooting for Pegula isn't rooting against Kelly, in any way. Kelly can't be the winner of the bid, since he hasn't made a bid. But you can always dream. It's likely the NFL won't approve playing in a stadium owned by a third party, so that plan seems out, too.

That's fine. Just realize Kelly hasn't made a bid yet so until he does he is irrelevant in this conversation.

Well, Kelly is not currently a competitive bidder, from what I have heard. He is a potential bidder looking to link up with someone with more money.

I know. I used "agents" (notice I didn't say "Spiller's agent") as an example of a third party. That is, he could have had contact with someone--just not directly with a team--to let them know Spiller might be available for the right deal. But as I also said, I kinda doubt that.

Color me naive here, but I have a feeling, when all is said and done, it won't be the reporter learning a lesson here.

No, I just don't like the idea of using tickets as a commodity. I realise many disagree but for years, this was considered scalping and illegal.

These pants should only come in XS and S. Anything bigger than that and you shouldn't anything with Spandex. With that said, these Zubaz are some really stupid looking pants.

Of course that leaves open him letting agents (for example) know he might consider trading Spiller if someone were to offer him XXX (no I don't mean dirty movies or videos). Nobody but you seems to think his peripheral vision is impacted in any negative way. The visor is SEE THROUGH! You know what can really obstruct your vision? Getting poked in the eye by a big DT/DE. How selfish would he be if he left himself open to an eye injury? On a page full of dumb threads, this might be the dumbest. But at least it is entertaining.

Well I could give you the selfish answer: As I have no children or wife, I don't give a damn. But that's not who I am or how I think. Of course that's a nice benefit But season ticket holders (who get screwed with the preseason games) have always dumped those tickets at very reasonable prices (often giving them away) without taking a profit on the popular games.

Obviously we write convoluted rantings. And always be sure to hit the return mid sentence to make it really hard to read.

Maybe so. I'm guessing you grew up watching a rather sterile game, played mostly on artificial turf. I'd like to see that kind of game go away--so maybe I'm a fossil. To me the best team is a team that can win in all kinds of weather. Weather separates the tough teams from the delicate ones. The Raiders didn't seem to get much of an equalization boos when the Bills crushed them 53-3 in some terrible weather. (and yes, I understand that game was played on artificial turf)

I didn't say every game played in bad weather was great. But many of the greatest games I have ever seen (live or on TV) were played in bad weather. Taking the weather out of the game robs it of a lot of its personality, IMO.

It may be true the Bills use resellers to push their tickets. I really have no idea,. But I'm no fan of scalping. And this is no different than the scalpers that work the lots, IMO. Not to say that I haven't use a scalper to buy/sell. So I guess that makes me a hypocrite, too. But there's something that seems more legit about the guys working the lots, to buy and sell, then investors greedily buying blocks of tickets and jacking the price to whatever level the market will bear. It doesn't reflect well on the team, either.

I'm not sure which is more convoluted: your logic or your posting style. Both seem to be detached from reality and display a serious lack of continuity. If "bad poet meets conspiracy theorist" is the look you were going for, congrats. But I'd consider going in a different direction if you want the adults to take you seriously
