  1. Give my best. Think about him often, actually. And for the record, I prefer bourbon pong!
  2. Tre. Good to see you,. Having my pre-dinner cocktails right now,. How's the little guy doing?
  3. i haven't read any of this thread, so this may have been said. Honestly I think they are all pretty funny. Rocky got cut too early, IMO, but he had his worst performance that night. Still funnier than most; Machi was also a victim of a sub-par performance the other night. With that said, the only reason I can see for Lauchlin still being around is they believe he can be a sit-com star. Remember, this is as much about NBC getting a sit-com star as it is finding talent.
  4. Legursky. He played there on Saturday night. BTW, did Macky Mac play at all on Saturday?
  5. My recollection was for awhile, he played at a pretty decent level. I'm guessing his long absence hurt him a bit. But I wonder why he isn't being considered for a starting role over a few of these underperformers. Maybe Cordy's return (and Henderson's performance) makes him more of an option as a starting guard, rather than a swing tackle backup. Just thinking out loud here, really.
  6. "The Buffalo News late last week reported the seller was scheduled to hold as many as eight meetings by the end of next week, either with finalists or potential purchasers. It appears the latter include merely minority-stake investors for potential, unformed-as-yet bid groups." I believe this is a reference to Kelly/Gundlach. And MS's job is to sell the team for The Trust. I don't think they would allow the TO group to continue unless they gave them some indication that convinced MS they were looking to stay in Buffalo. I would assume (as that is all we can do) they gave them enough assurance for MS to keep them in the process. But it is The Trust, and not MS, who will have final say over who gets the team. Their criteria for what constitutes a commitment to Buffalo could be more stringent than that of MS.
  7. I was going to the Rockpile when I was 7. Loved it. Drunks and all. My father did not, so I typically went with my uncles or family friends.
  8. Agreed. He did seem to fall of the cliff. What's the deal with Hairston? Is versatility his problem?
  9. He did say that. Just because Trump said it doesn't make it true. But I'm betting Trump is a better source for himself than the Forbes source (or any reporter's source). Everything we are reading is pure speculation (or self-promotion). How else could Kryk find out one number, Graham another and then Forbes a number completely different? Believe nothing. With that said, anyone reporting more wild speculation today?
  10. Yes, we get it, You think Marrone is inept and like Gregg Williams. Very funny. Ha Ha.
  11. Well that's possible I guess, but I just think the idiots make themselves known. It's easy to spot an idiot drunk. i was a bartender for many years and I'd say the drunken idiots are the minority in general. But it's easy to see how you might think there are more of them, as they make a lot of trouble. I suppose we might conclude that the people not behaving badly simply aren't as drunk as those who are. But I'm betting a blood alcohol test would support that many of the non-idiots are in fact pretty freaking drunk,
  12. :worthy:  I certainly binge a lot less now than I did then. But then again, my drinking stamina is way better today than it was when I was young I've learned to pace myself...sort of. I have been one of those guys who didn't remember what happened at the game the next day. But it's been a long time since I've been that drunk. IMO, I don't care if you are drunk or sober. I care how you act. Some people act like idiots when they drink (Instant Idiot! Just add alcohol!). Some area idiots when they are sober. I don't want to be around idiots, drunk or sober. If you are a fun drunk, drink away I say.
  13. "Hater" is now name calling? Does that apply to "bust" as well? Just curious.
  14. Except it has nothing to do with the WNY situation and has never been an issue for any NFL stadium.
  15. I don't believe there are any sportsbooks outside of Nevada, Oregon, Delaware and maybe Montana. I might be missing a state or two. No state with an NFL team.
  16. Drunkin damn sportsfa hot we uys! Seriouysly wat aresuy u taklkjnn abounwt$
  17. So, dogbyte, what do you have to say for yourself? Seems like you are at best uninformed .and at worst a liar. It does not have a sport's book, nor does the Casino in Buffalo (is that Seneca, too?) No sports books in New York State.
  18. So you admit you are a hater. Just own it. Like some here, you hated the pick and you will dog the man cause you didn't like the pick. It doesn't take much getting used to. The internet is full of fools like yourself who are so invested in their initial opinion, they can't be objective about the play of the player. I don't know if EJ will be successful. But I'm going to give him a chance. There are things he does well, and some he does not. But he is still a puppy in this league. One thing I think I know. It's really easy to predict a player will fail (more fail than become great). I'd suggest you hold off on your evaluation until the guy has a chance to prove himself...one way or another. But I know that this is a waisted sentiment on those of your ilk.
  19. That why I said "didn't see him". I think he may not have seen him when the others did. It certainly looks as though that could be the case. I would assume that over a purposeful attack, with no better evidence.
  20. That sounds about right. And when I say, didn't see him, I mean see him in time to slow down to avoid him. I think he might not have seen him right away, not that he didn't see him at all. I mean, when he hit him I'm guessing he saw him.
  21. You know EJ looked pretty good his 1st preseason game as a rookie, too. Right? Tuel looked really good in preseason last year, too. There's a difference between criticizing someone and being a hater. It just so happens you come off like a hater.
  22. I've watched the video too many times (hard to take really). I think TS might have seen him too late, and then took evasive action. I mean, you simply don't expect a guy to be weaving on foot on a track among cars. Even if he saw him right away, it might take a minute to react. These drivers have good reactions, but this is a bizarre situation. You think he saw him early and, perhaps, tried to scare him. It's a tragedy for sure, but without knowing what he was thinking and why he accelerated, it's tough to say he is at fault. Drunk-walking on a racetrack is a foolish thing to do.
