  1. Good of the "legal expert" to chime in and state the obvious. Though I don't believe the fans demonstrating support during the sales process has any impact on the decision of The Trust. Their guidelines were set much earlier. But it's still good to see.
  2. Yup. My bad. Point Fire Chan! Sometimes they make up for small differences, but not a completion % under 50%. Guy can't get a job as a THIRD string QB on any NFL team, but you want him on the Bills. Brilliant!
  3. Nope, In the entire NFL Denver ranked 9th in scoring against: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=true&conference=null&role=OPP&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=SCORING&season=2011&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=false&Submit=Go
  4. His religious beliefs shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately he has a lot of fans (and detractors) who seem to be stuck on that topic. But that's no reason not to sign him. He sucks HARD as an NFL QB, and is a major distraction (for no payoff) is reason enough.
  5. Hey just using your logic, on how the D looked against us.
  6. NFL.com 2011 team defenses. BTW, using your "logic", Tebow must suck. Against the Bills in that game he tossed 3 ints and went 13-29 (a typical line for him). Here's the NFL link (hope it works). You have to select "regular season" in the drop down. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=true&conference=0011&role=OPP&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=TOTAL_YARDS&season=2011&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=false&Submit=Go
  7. 2011 Denver Broncos 5th in the AFC in total yards. 4th in the AFC in scoring Try again.
  8. I'm with you. Fortunately Doug W is too smart, and not desperate, enough to try a cheap stunt like this. Tebow will be 60 years old and people will still be clamoring for him to play somewhere.
  9. Playing in tutus would also be a real sign of unconventional thinking. But why in the world would Tebow be better at "old-fashioned 3 yards and a cloud of dust"? EJ throws the same short passes as Tebow and runs just fine. The key to this team is keeping EJ clean.
  10. NE is a safe place for him. Denver was a safe place for him,. Buffalo would be the circus the Jets had, but maybe worse. He's has plenty of chances.
  11. I'm not one to attribute meaning to something random. Still this is pretty interesting: http://krebsonsecurity.com/2014/08/lorem-ipsum-of-good-evil-google-china/
  12. While I don't like rules that take ST out of the game, I think maybe 7 (or 6) points for a TD with an extra point option. But the person who scored the TD must be involved in the extra point(s) should they go for it/them. Run, pass, catch or kick the ball. Just an idea I heard that I thought was interesting. Haven't really given it a lot of thought though,
  13. But you think The Bills, with a lesser team, and without a real top guy like Elway, are better suited to handle the inevitable media distraction? For a backup QB?
  14. Well there's that. (1st reply, too. I thought that might get past a few.) But I'd be drunker, and earlier in the day, if I had to teach HS.
  15. Why isn't he there as a backup then? Why is no other team interested in him? Elway doesn't like him as a QB that much is clear,
  16. I'd be drunk if I had to teach high school, too.
  17. That logic is actually the biggest reason to keep away. Cassal looked GREAT under Belicheat. And if he like Mallet so much, why spend a 2nd round pick on Garoppolo? Why would he even be available if he has so much potential? If Beilcheat was willing to deal him to the Bills, there's your giant warning right there.
  18. But you should know, as all 32 GMs seem to, that once Tebow comes to a team he becomes a giant distraction. EJ has an upside and we need to see if he can get there, Tebow has none--we've seen it all. QBing a great team to the playoffs isn't that big of a deal. Look what that same team did without him the next year.
  19. Sure. But does he want to play?
  20. Yup. My bad. It's shocking that others don't see that. Well maybe not so shocking when you see some of the user names. I'm still not up to speed on who is who, as there are some new users and some who have changed their handles. But you can just smell the stupid coming off a few of these clowns.
  21. Why is this a poll? Just show him any article where Discovery Channel execs admit it is a fake documentary. OTOH, the special is real. The special exists. So maybe that's where the argument went off the rails.
  22. How about this. He has played in 35 NFL games and has 16 starts. That's WAY more experience than any QB on the Bills. And over that time his passing % is 47.9. Do you think the Bills can win with a player who has that low of a completely percentage? He simply never caught on the NFL game. No other team is interested, doesn't that tell you something?
  23. Last week, relieving Brady, Mallett SUCKED. Way worse than we've ever seen any of our current QBs play. This past week he looked better, taking third string reps. He is big and stupid,. You like him because he looked good, against player who don't play, in one preseason game last year? For the most part, though, the guy has zero track record, therefore he hasn't looked bad yet. I love that logic. A pig in a poke.
  24. Your logic is impeccable! Just so you know, Tebow's career completion % is 47.9. Clearly he is a better QB than....Wait. Than nobody. Denver won with Defense.
