Never read of the Bills having to play a season in another stadium. They will likely have to bus fans in from a more distant lot at some point unless ECC is leveled after this season.

When Russia took over Crimea and invaded the Donbas region starting in 2014 the US and NATO should have started training and equipping Ukraine with more advanced SAM and Jets. Once the Russian puppet there was thrown out at that time . The annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation took place in the aftermath of the 2014 Ukrainian revolution. During his presidency, Poroshenko 2014-19 led the country through the first phase of the War in Donbas, pushing the Russian separatist forces into the Donbas Region. He began the process of integration with the European Union by signing the European Union–Ukraine Association Agreement. -

Ukrainian pilot reveals what his country's military really needs in fight against Russia Pilot says Ukraine’s Air Force has had 'a lot of losses' "But in general, we cannot gain a real air superiority, unfortunately," he said, adding that Western countries should supply Ukraine with more advanced air-defense systems if they can’t receive updated planes. https://www.foxnews.com/world/ukrainian-pilot-reveals-what-his-military-needs-against-russia -
Most other states have cheaper housing , need more then one wage earner per household. One congressman from Texas said a lot of immigrant oil field workers were let go during the covid shutdown , including the vast Permian basin and N. Dakota and have not returned. https://www.texastribune.org/2022/03/25/texas-permian-basin-oil-russia-invasion/

I would think immigrants from the southern border would want these minimum wage jobs , just vett them and give them a temp work permit. On the morning news 11 million job openings for 5 million looking for a job.

Paul Volcker Chairman of the Fed 79-87 During his time as the chairman of the Fed, Volcker is credited with ending the high levels of inflation that the United States experienced during the 1970s and early 1980s. When he became chairman in 1979, inflation was high and peaked in 1981 at 13.5%. However, due to the work of Volcker and the rest of the board, the inflation rate dropped to 3.2% by 1983. Volcker raised the federal funds rate from 11.2% in 1979 to 20% in June of 1981. The unemployment rate became higher than 10% during this time as well. https://courses.lumenlearning.com/boundless-economics/chapter/historical-federal-reserve-policies/ To fix inflation means a recession if they follow Volcker's cure.

NY lieutenant governor arrested on bribery charges New York Lieutenant Gov. Brian Benjamin was indicted for alleged bribery and other offenses, as part of what federal prosecutors say was a "scheme" to get campaign contributions in exchange for a $50,000 state grant. Tucker Carlson’s defense of Russia takes “America First” to its logical conclusion “Why shouldn’t I root for Russia? Which I am.” By Aaron Rupar@atrupar Nov 26, 2019 On his Monday night show, Fox News host Tucker Carlson made a comment that was shocking even by his standards. He said he’s rooting for Russia to prevail in its armed conflict with Ukraine’s fledging democracy — a conflict that began when Russia illegally invaded its neighbor years ago and continues to this day. “Why do I care what is going on in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia?!” Carlson said. “And I’m serious. Why do I care? Why shouldn’t I root for Russia? Which I am.” https://www.vox.com/2019/11/26/20983778/tucker-carlson-rooting-for-russia-ukraine-invasion-america-first -

Putin appoints new commander for Ukraine Dvornikov, 60, was the first commander of Russia’s military operations in Syria, after Putin sent troops there in September 2015 to back the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. During Dvornikov’s command in Syria from September 2015 to June 2016, Russian aircraft backed the Assad regime and its allies as they laid siege to rebel-held eastern Aleppo, bombarding densely populated neighborhoods and causing major civilian casualties. The city fell to Syrian government forces in December 2016. https://www.cnn.com/europe/live-news/ukraine-russia-putin-news-04-10-22/h_df46238b7e9e7c7cb2b3beee04be45a1 This is the worse news for Ukraine , what his air power did to Aleppo was criminal. -

If hydrogen fuel cells could be made better for vehicles and the environment then lithium batteries and the need for large electric use to charge would it not be better ? Hydrogen fuel power generation instead of nuclear power ? -

I agree , we can do both , force energy companies to keep us energy independent and build clean alternatives at the same time. The US will have to provide incentives and upgrade the national power grid to handle a much heavier electric load that won't be easy or cheap. Fund R&D for hydrogen fuel cells and build more nuclear power plants. This will take a long time and still be very expensive. At this point I don't think the world can do it . Covid and wars put the US and the world $trillions in debt. -
Housing Choice Vouchers , if they break the law or abuse private housing they lose that voucher. Stop calling the US a communist country. At least we keep trying to find solutions.
-
Housing Choice Vouchers Fact Sheet The housing choice voucher program is the federal government's major program for assisting very low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market. Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own housing, including single-family homes, townhouses and apartments. https://www.hud.gov/topics/housing_choice_voucher_program_section_8

Statewide Gas Ban Bill Axed From NY Budget, Sources Say Environmentalists are planning to protest Thursday following news that a measure to ban gas hookups in new construction across the state starting in 2024 has been left out of the forthcoming budget deal—Gov. Kathy Hochul’s first since taking office. The proposed legislation, the All-Electric Building Act, follows a similar law passed by the New York City Council under former Mayor Bill de Blasio in December. https://citylimits.org/2022/04/06/statewide-gas-ban-bill-axed-from-ny-budget-sources-say/ Switch after alternatives are in place not before -
Bradberry is still too expensive once NYG keeps his bonus and restructure as dead cap. Even then would need to give Bills a good draft pick to take his salary. jmo $13,400,000 base salary , $3M bonus , $5,363,889 restructure https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-giants/james-bradberry-19011/

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer To Retire
ALF replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There was no need for future ramifications . Republicans could have gone back to 60 when in power for lower court and Exec branch appointments but Trump wanted to stay at majority . Fact is more important then opinion. The nuclear option was first invoked in November 2013, when a Senate Democratic majority led by Harry Reid used the procedure to eliminate the 60-vote rule for presidential nominations, other than nominations to the Supreme Court. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_option#:~:text=The nuclear option was first, nominations to the Supreme Court.
